Water Hall Care Centre is an attractive modern building, which opened in 2008 and provides the highest standards of dementia and nursing care and accommodation. Water Hall was the first home in Milton Keynes to be awarded with an 'Outstanding' rating by CQC in February 2021.

Water Hall is located in Water Eaton, Bletchley, within walking distance of the local amenities which include a Post Office, shops and a public house. The home has strong links with the local community especially with the nearby school. There are excellent public transport services to both Bletchley Town Centre and central Milton Keynes Shopping Centre which are only a short bus ride away.

The home has 56 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. There are also lounges and dining rooms with individual kitchenettes on each floor where residents are offered home cooked meals freshly prepared by the chefs and their team. All specialist diets can be catered for.

There is a café, a hairdressing salon and other quiet rooms around the home and there is also an enclosed garden with covered gazebo. All areas are tastefully decorated to a high standard and are wheelchair accessible.

The activities programme is tailored around individuals’ particular interests and a wide variety of daily activities are offered which include arm chair exercises, ball games, regular church services, bingo, singing, dancing and the occasional trip to the seaside.

The care and services provided are delivered by trained professionals who are dedicated to looking after the health and wellbeing of each resident. The management and staff of the home are welcoming and friendly and are proud to provide a supportive and hospitable environment in which to live.

Did not meet management, but my ratings explain my total satisfaction. A very nice facility that is well managed, spotlessly clean and has super food. I would go back anytime.

This year has been extremely difficult. The staff have kept me updated on Mum's welfare consistently which I'm grateful for in these uncertain times. I have been thankful to all staff for their constant care in these changing times.

The care home is modern clean and bright. The room I am occupying has dual aspect windows and is light, airy and very pleasant. The food is very good considering the numbers being catered for. The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the staff who work so hard to deliver first-class care for anyone who
manages this team life must be relatively good working with such a great team of people.

I spent a month with the staff at Waterhall. From my arrival to my departure I was treated with respect and genuine care by the wonderful staff. I really hadn’t wanted to go in for the treatment and I can honestly say that I am incredibly grateful that they made it easy to help me settle quickly and
relax under their care. My room is comfortable and the food like home. The level of cleanliness was excellent, I was never concerned about COVID because all staff followed strict guidelines. I would recommend this home to anyone who needs care, you will be made at home and be treated with care and dignity. I will always be grateful I stayed and their contribution to my recovery was invaluable.

My mother had an extended stay of over 2 months, of course there are small things that I could criticise but overall I was extremely happy with the care that she received whilst at Waterhall. The carers were mostly kind and caring, the care she received enabled her to recover enough to go home after
a short stay in hospital and a longer stay at Waterhall. When she arrived she was unable to do anything for herself, by the time she left she was able to walk with a frame and has continued to improve at home.
The surroundings are very pleasant and her room was nice, she was able to have her meals in her room or on better days was taken to the dining room to socialise with other residents. She is still keeping in touch with one lady she met there (who has also gone home). I should also add that the food (which is cooked on the premises) is very good and helped build Mum back up.
It was very reassuring for me to know that Mum was safe and being cared for.

Thank you so much for caring for Dad in the last year of his life. We cannot express how much it meant to see him cared for with so much dignity and respect when he could no longer, had any mobility and needed so much. He was always comfortable and clean, and staff to time to speak and sing with him.
The care at Waterhall is truly outstanding.

Excellent care provided by professional and compassionate staff. Carers and management take into consideration the unique needs of the resident, interacting with them, treating all with dignity and respect. The management operates "an open door" policy and are always available to discuss concerns.
The
staff and management go the extra mile to ensure where possible, all requests are met. Residents are encouraged and supported to become involved in activities. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to friends. A fine example of what a care home should be.

For several months I complained about a lack of heating in the room. Despite repeated assurances that central heating would be restored, it took longer than it should have done. Access to funds to pay for essential/personal needs is erratic.
There were times when, during visits, my requests for hearing
aid batteries/toenail/hair cutting met with an uncooperative response. However, in recent months there has been a noticeable improvement.

My husband has been in Waterhall Care Home for three and a half years. He has been well cared for during this time, treated with love and dignity by all the staff.
All his food has to be pureed and this is made to look as appetising as possible.

Our aunt is undoubtedly well cared for. A marked improvement in her care since new person appointed team leader.

During the 6 months, my mother has been resident we have found the Care Centre to be bright, clean and well kept. Her family have been encouraged to use facilities and take part in activities and events. All staff have made every attempt to "go the extra mile" when we have asked for assistance. Management
has always been available for any questions to be responded to. The care is professional and personal.
