We are pleased to hear that your Mum is doing well in the last 5 months since moving to her new home. Brentwood Care Centre has been very busy with the new leadership team in place, it is a shame you didn't meet them but we understand management changes can be unsettling. There have been so many exciting changes; the whole home team have completed certificates in Dementia Care, the home has refurbished communal parts of the Dementia environment with further plans in place and is working with the Head of Dementia Care and Development to make further positive changes alongside the implementation of the Dementia Strategy. The investment in Brentwood Care Centre is evident not just from the commitment of the management team and the amazing staff team within the home, but also from the local county awards, the national care awards nominations and the CQC report published after only 5 months of the new manager being in post. Stay safe and well.

Jacqui recently joined the RCH Family as the General Manager of Brentwood Care Centre.
Jacqui brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise to the home, with over 30 years of experience in the Health and Social Care Sector. For over 20 years, Jacqui has been managing residential, residential dementia, nursing, and rehabilitation care settings, including almost four years as an Operations and Compliance Manager.
For Jacqui, the passion and dedication that have inspired her career since 1992 are still vibrant. “I have relished and valued every aspect of my journey through the care pathway. I enjoy the diversity of the role – no two days are ever the same! I am especially passionate about the care of people living with dementia, offering stimulating and meaningful experiences for residents and ensuring that the care they receive is the best it can be. I love the social aspect of meeting and liaising with residents and their loved ones and supporting their journey at this time of their lives. I enjoy being able to lead a team of carers and nurses to deliver high-quality care to the people living at Brentwood Care Centre.”
Outside of work, Jacqui is an animal lover and shows her natural compassion and dedication through looking after the local wildlife. “I have a love of animals (once I was intending to become a vet) and I have some visiting foxes, cats, seagulls, and hedgehogs that I feed on my front lawn every day. I also go out with my partner each night to feed foxes and badgers at our local nature reserve. I hope in some small way I keep them well-fed, off the streets, and out of people’s rubbish sacks and help them to remain safe.”
Job Title: Essex Regional Operations Manager
Essex Regional Operations Manager, Diana has a wealth of experience and knowledge from across Health and Social Care Sectors.
With over 16 years of experience, Diana started her career as a Health Care Assistant in a neurosurgical hospital and went on to train and qualify as a Nurse in Romania. Since coming to the UK in 2016 as a Nurse, Diana has had various roles leading up to her first General Manager role in 2017.
Diana’s experience in developing a team’s knowledge and skills through leadership and mentoring is something she is passionate about and is looking forward to supporting RCH Care Homes across Essex.
Another part of her role as Essex Regional Operations Manager that she loves is, ‘inspiring a great team to make further differences to the lives of the residents, making sure they are living their best life possible and that everyone feels it is a nice place to live and work; because it’s a home from home.’
Whilst not a work Diana enjoys travelling, keeping up to date with world news and being adventurous; this year she took part in a Sky Dive!

Rhiannon joined the Brentwood Care Centre family in Spring 2022.
She is passionate about her role, supporting families and loved ones on their journey in looking for care and also building community links with the home's local community.
'I love that my role is meeting people whether that be supporting them in understanding the processes of looking for care during what can be a difficult time or, organising community events such as our monthly Dementia Cafés and our intergenerational events.'
