Thank you for the wonderful feedback, this is always uplifting to the staff to receive this as it gives them the confirmation that the love and care they promote to all our residents is being recognized and appreciated from relatives. Dementia is so hard for loved ones emotions and very challenging to deal with, the management team and all staff values are to also support family members in good and bad days as we are one big family.

Thank you for your review as your feedback is most important to the management team and all the staff at Kingsgate Care Home. Mum was here with your Dad for a short period of time which was a real shame that they never got to be together for longer, but your mum has really settled here and enjoys all the activities and events that we have going on throughout the year, her favourite being the exercise games that the company rise to come into the home to do and of course the weekly Bingo! Mum often speaks about your Dad and it is a big comfort to her that we did know him, and share pictures and memories of him.

As a family member, I also feel cared for and well supported by the staff at Kingsgate which is so important. There is a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to work together for the benefit of Mum.

Joined: 2018
I become the Deputy Manager of Kingsgate Care Home in 2018 and registered as the Registered Manager in January 2024. I have worked in care since 2010 starting out as a care assistant moving on to Senior Care assistant, Training Manager, Deputy Manager. I had lots of opportunities through my time in the care industry and took them with both hands. My passion is caring for others, treating others how I would like to be treated with dignity and respect. I practice an open door policy so anyone can come and talk to me whenever they need to, this is important to me it gives relatives the time and support they also need, supporting them through difficult challenging times is also a priority to me as well as their loved ones.
