All the staff are very kind and helpful. The caring, nursing and food are all excellent. The residents are all well presented each day and all are happy. The activities are all wonderful and well organised.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
Feel like more staff would help to make things work better.
More improvements could be made to the physical environment, some things in rooms look like they have seen better days.
Also, communal areas could be improved.
The ethos needs to be more resident-focused,
feel like it is focused on finance.
Improvements have been made but more still to do.
Could also possibly get people to volunteer ie garden, projects etc. Special meals, parties etc.

My dad lived at Brooklands for a number of years and very much enjoyed his time there. I was very pleased with the love, care and attention he received. All of the staff are very helpful and kind. I can't thank them enough for what they do. The home itself is kept in very good order. while my dad was
there the carpets were all replaced, a number of common rooms were redecorated to a high standard and the beds and bedroom furniture were replaced too. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and fresh. I always felt that I could discuss my dads care with staff members at any time. I would very much recommend Brooklands to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

My mother was taken to Brooklands as she was unable to look after herself as she was diagnosed with cancer and needed 24hr care. I cannot praise the staff highly enough not only in mum's care but also how they supported the family at such a difficult time.

Need proper maintenance man e.g., wheelchairs, tyres, brakes and footrests need attending to. Also front doorbell needs to be repaired, not working. Staff are brilliant, first class but need name badges to be seen clearly.

Maintenance of wheelchairs and grounds leave a bit to be desired! Caring staff are excellent during the day. Have not experienced night staff.

My dad went into the home from the hospital and he was very poorly and confused. I can't believe how all the staff are so caring. My dad is 70% better now and hopefully will be home soon. This is all down to the staff and I can't thank them enough. They can't do enough for him and it's a wonderful home.

Mum has been here 5 years now and has received the best care we could have hoped. Any concerns are quickly addressed and staff are very approachable. All concerns are reported to the family promptly. We are grateful for the "extra mile" that mum receives.

My husband was cared for excellent until his death. The staff were a great support to me. As a result, I see them as family and return to help once a week. The residents who are mobile enjoy company and music in the main lounge. Others have access to the sensory lounge on the first floor. Every festival
is celebrated enthusiastically and the home is festooned appropriately. Entertainers visit regularly to lift the spirits of residents who always receive great nursing care. A doctor experienced in geriatric care visits weekly and when required, regular visits are also made by the hairdressers and opticians. The activities manager also arranges outings everything possible is done to provide quality of life.

Everything that is done is absolutely the best. I can only thank the staff. Everything they do is marvellous. Thanking is not enough.
It's challenging but I can see what they do. It's not just my mum but even the other residents I can see how they are cared for. Little things make the difference.

The care shown to mum has been very good. All the staff have been very friendly and caring and nothing is too much trouble. They have laid on extra activities for the residents in the running up to Christmas which is lovely.
Mum is happy here and getting the care she needs.

My Dad suffers from Alzheimer's and has been in Brooklands Nursing Home since July and as his condition has continued to deteriorate and at certain times has required 1:1 care. I have been very impressed by the care and the support from all the staff not only to Dad but also to me. There is always a
friendly atmosphere and the social programmes provided certainly help to stimulate my Dad. There is a light and airy dining room with an excellent choice of meals. Dad really enjoys the tea and homemade cakes in the afternoons. Brooklands Nursing Home gives me peace of mind that Dad is being well looked after, something I thought I would never find.
