Lovely friendly home, excellent care and my dad is happy. He is well looked after. The home has adapted well during these difficult times. He enjoys the activities and I love to see them on social media.

Good home. The staff are nice and very helpful. Father-in-law is very happy and takes part in the activities. He is well looked after and he loves his visits with family. Home is well run and they keep the family informed on all matters.

My wife had a massive stroke at the end of December 2019. After three months in hospital, the NHS moved her to Andover. In June 2021 we moved her back to Romsey to be near friends and family. As a result of her stroke, her needs are complex, she has vascular dementia. The staff at Durban House are very
patient, kind and considerate and we are very pleased with the care she is receiving. The reception staff are very welcoming to visitors and the home has a pleasant atmosphere. My wife has a garden room with a patio which was used frequently during the summer months.

My husband went into Durban House in August and right from the start the staff were kind and caring, making a lot of effort to get to know him and accommodate his needs. His room is spacious with its own patio and feels private and homely. The nurses are always happy to provide updates on his condition
and my husband comments on the excellence of the food.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially during these very trying circumstances for the last year. Can the lift be reviewed as it seems to be breaking down more frequently, resulting in cancelled visits for the residents on the upper floors.

Dad was sent here by the hospital after being very poorly. I didn't know anything about the place but the hospital obviously did and it has proved a very good choice. The staff are truly caring people, not only is Dad kept clean and well-fed he is also kept engaged with his mind. The Staff all do everything
they can to keep him happy which in turn relieves me of a lot of worry, its such a great place I cannot recommend it enough.

Super, fabulous and very professional. My mum took a while to settle in, with the support and care of all the staff, from the cleaners to the senior staff she's a very happy and contented lady. Which makes me very happy to know she's in safe hands especially during this pandemic. 10/10 from me.

My mother has been a resident for just over two years. She is 96 years old, suffers from worsening dementia and is no longer able to walk on her own.
The care she has received and continues to receive has been nothing but first class.
The staff are wonderfully considerate of all her needs, the food
is excellent and the entertainment and activities that are laid on to stimulate and entertain are fantastic.
Having looked at a number of Nursing Homes for Mum, my brother and I are so thankful that a place at Durban House was available when she desperately needed care.
During the COVID crisis, Durban House were a step ahead of the game and communication with relatives has been excellent.

Durban House is a pleasant facility with beautiful gardens. The staff are caring and compassionate.
I have seen little staff turnover in the four and a half years my mother has lived there.
Activities and celebrations take place frequently and are varied and inclusive.
The nursing care is very efficient.
