My Wife is now in Durban House, she has cancer and is now quite frail. Everybody at the home has been so welcoming to me and my Wife. My Wife knows all the staff already and says they are extremely caring. We are very happy that she is at Durban House. A great weight has been lifted off my mind.

My mother has been at Durban House since 11th April 2018. She came from our local hospice. From the first day she said she loved her room and the staff were so kind.
My mother is really enjoying the food and everything about the home. Everyone is so caring.

My mother has only been a resident in Durban House for just over two months. The home is well cared for and the staff create a warm, homely atmosphere. They treat my mother who can be excellent with respect to her medical need, keeping me well informed. The staff are welcoming when we visit and there
are always plenty of them around to see to the resident's needs. We are pleased to have chosen Durban House knowing that our mother will be looked after in the best possible manner until the end of her life.

My dad moved to Durban House when his last care home closed and it became obvious he needed nursing care. He settled in very well and didn't seem to us, his family, too confused with his new surroundings. He has a beautiful large room looking out onto part of the garden which he loves. No matter
what time of day I visit his room is always immaculately clean, as is my dad. I am very happy with his care and also very happy with the huge range of activities that take place at Durban House to keep the residents/service users stimulated.

My mother spent two weeks at Durban House having respite care. The standard of care is of a very high calibre. Staff are very responsive to service users needs. Over the two weeks, staff got to know my mother on a personal level. She felt at ease with staff who have a very professional approach
to routine procedures and keeping residents safe at all times (security of the building). We would not hesitate to use the services of this residental care home again.

Durban House Nursing Home is a bright and clean care home with modern facilities. The majority of staff are warm and friendly and some are truly excellent. The activities coordinator provides a good range of stimulating activities and my mother is very happy here. She is well looked after, well-cherished

Staff are always cheerful and pleasant to residents and visitors. There are a lot of events and outings. My grandmother is well looked after and the staff go above and beyond on special occasions such as her birthday.
There are daily activities organised to enrich the resident's lives and plenty of

My mother has been at Durban House Nursing Home for 20 months and I have never had cause to complain about the care she receives. All the staff treat the elderly with dignity and are very attentive. The home is spotless. Never any nasty whiffs. All the rooms are tastefully decorated. Light and bright.
Good food, well presented. Monthly programme of activities. Management approachable at all times. Knowing my mother is being well cared for gives me peace of mind.
