My mother's care over nearly five years was exceptional. She enjoyed the activities provided and loved living there, nothing was too much for staff across all sections. I was always made to feel welcome when visiting The Grange and if I had any queries, they were always dealt with courteously and nothing
was too much trouble. During my mum's last days, they ensured she was well cared for and comfortable. During the Covid epidemic, the staff worked tirelessly to protect the residents and we were extremely grateful for their care in difficult circumstances. I believe The Grange is simply the best.

A warm, very supportive environment. Staff are always ready to help, advise and care for loved one. Lots of activities on offer, plentiful healthy food and a positive clean home. The residents are well looked after and lucky to be here.

All the staff, from nurses to carers to cleaners are all friendly, welcoming and will always do anything they can to ensure residents are cared for and comfortable. The Nurses are all attentive and professional in what they do and will always attend to any problems with care and compassion.

The Grange Nursing Home staff go out of their way to ensure that each resident is looked after and their individual needs are met, and every resident is treated with the greatest of respect and care. Now that Covid rules are relaxed they organised a wonderful platinum jubilee tea party for residents
and their families and it was lovely to get back to some sort of normality, with lots of upcoming events to come. Our relative is extremely happy in The Grange Nursing Home and she feels safe, well cared for and looked after and is very content.

The Grange Nursing Home put on a wonderful party for residents and their families to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. They had professional singers and there was singing and dancing with Pimms and soft drinks and delicious food made by the kitchen staff at the home. It was a wonderful afternoon
enjoyed by residents and their families alike. The staff were brilliant - so kind to the residents and nothing was too much trouble. This is a very caring home for the elderly with the highest standards and staff that really care in more ways than one!

All staff - nurses, carers, activities, kitchen, cleaning etc, were always good-humoured and attentive.
The medical care was excellent with medicines being dispensed consistently and staff readily available for help and advice.
The food was invariably good in terms of variety, choice, quality and
quantity.
My room was well kept with an ensuite shower room and all the most up to date technology one could require.
The gardens were very pleasant and well kept.
The safety of staff and residents regarding Covid were comprehensive and explain why no Covid cases, I was led to believe, had invaded The Grange.

I came to The Grange for one month respite, and after three or four days, decided to stay because I knew how good the care is. I have never regretted a moment of my decision. The carers are so kind and efficient, as are the nursing staff. The kitchen staff so willing and polite. I would recommend The
Grange to all. I am very happy here, after two years.

My mother has been a resident at The Grange for the past two years. Despite the difficulties that lockdown have brought over the last 12-months, both management and staff have done their utmost to keep residents safe, active and in touch with families and friends. From contact through video chats, telephone
calls and POD visits, all staff have remained positive and continued to show their care, kindness and dedication.

I visited my dear mum most days since she became a resident in The Grange in 2017. It has a lovely, caring, family-friendly atmosphere with lots of varied activities for residents. I was devastated when I was unable to visit when the first lockdown came and was really worried about how she would cope
without seeing me, but The Grange quickly put a system of video calls in place to keep us connected, with Covid safe visits at various times when we came out of the lockdowns, keeping families regularly updated and informed. During such challenging times, we really appreciate the efforts and continued care of all the staff over the last year that has ensured mum's continued well-being, and kept us connected with mum and carers on video calls and pod visits when possible.

Since being unable to visit our grandma, (the last visit in person for me was March 2020), we have all taken it in turns to have FaceTime calls with granny. This has enabled us to see how she really is, which is amazing.


We were able to drop off gifts for her recent birthday, a few days prior to

her birthday for quarantine purposes. Then we were able to have a slightly longer FaceTime with her while she opened her gifts and cards. Seeing her smiley face and the way she reacted with the gifts was incredible.


As a family, we can’t thank The Grange enough for all they have done during this challenging time, and we can’t wait to be able to see them all along with our Grandma in the future, all being well. All the staff are like part of our extended family now, so we miss seeing them as well.

Throughout the past 12 heartbreaking months of not being able to see my Grandma, The Grange has enabled weekly FaceTimes with family members, including those overseas. This has allowed us to see how well Grandma looks, and chatter about days gone by.
My Grandma lived a solitary lifestyle before she
became a resident here, and now has a new lease of life at 96 due to the incredible staff and her fellow friendly residents at The Grange. The entertainment team have adapted their schedule due to the restriction of external guests... and keep the residents stimulated with numerous activities. Ranging from dominos, armchair aerobics, baking, art and crafts, to seasonal discussions.
It is lovely to see the regular updates on how my Grandma is, and it has made this past year of not being able to see her daily more bearable.
The staff at The Grange genuinely care about each of the residents; their hearts are fully engaged in caring for them.

My father has been receiving “end of life” care at The Grange for the last six months.
The team of staff are incredibly caring, patient and genuinely kind, in what are unprecedented challenging “lockdown“ constraints. Despite this, all the team remain cheerful and positive and totally professional

My dad was admitted to The Grange from hospital and was very ill. I was very impressed with The Grange from the first time I visited. The staff are friendly, caring and kind. I was especially impressed with the level of daily activities provided for residents. I would recommend The Grange to anyone.

In March 2019 my friend at the nursing home had to have all her teeth removed by the dental surgeon. Staff support from the home was excellent before, during and after the surgical procedure. Due to a stroke, my friend is unable to communicate clearly at all. So any discomfort, or enjoyment for that
matter, can only be detected by regular and detailed observation. Most recently (January 2020), I am particularly pleased the staff noticed a significant amount of hearing loss and initiated a procedure to vacuum the ears. The positive effects were noticeable straight away in increased social interaction from my friend.

The Grange is an excellent nursing home. My mother has been a resident now for nearly 3 years and she enjoys her time there. The home is very welcoming and does not have the 'just a business' feel to it that so many homes have. The staff are professional and very friendly. Food is excellent and you
can choose to have meals there with your family if you so wish (no additional cost). There is a conservatory on the ground floor that opens up into the garden where family can take their loved ones to have some alone time. This also has coffee and tea making facilities (and a tin of biscuits) that you just help yourself to. The whole place is kept very clean and tidy and you never have to worry about feeling uncomfortable there. Entertainment for the residents is also excellent, with daily activities, occasional outings and also special events such as summer BBQ, Christmas market etc. But these are not mandatory. I would highly recommend The Grange to anyone.

I came to The Grange at the end of March for a months respite care and after only a few days after living in an over-large house alone for 31 years, I decided that this was the best place to be.
I have been comfortable and very happy ever since.
I am 93 years old.
