Recently refurbished, Knights Grove has been rated 'outstanding' by the CQC (March 2019) and has been purpose-built to offer high levels of tailored short, or long term, care for those living with dementia. Palliative care is also offered.

Situated in a quiet residential area of North Baddesley, close to local amenities, Knights Grove has been carefully designed to provide a safe and stimulating setting.

Accommodation includes bright and comfortable interiors set across three floors, and all bedrooms are en suite with views of the surrounding landscaped gardens.

The home’s chef ensures that mealtimes are an important and enjoyable time for residents. The home provides both hot and cold meal options for residents and works hard to ensure that all special dietary needs are catered for.

A professional team supports residents in continuing their hobbies and aim to give them access to any activity they wish.

Reminiscence therapy is also used within the home which residents enjoy and benefit from. Themed events and days out add to the busy social calendar.

My husband has been a resident of Knights' Grove Care Home for the last 16 months. He has advanced dementia and can only communicate at a minimal level but he is always treated with respect and compassion by all the staff who look after him. I am confident that the well-being of the residents is at
the top of the agenda, supported by all staff, receptionists, care staff, hairdressers etc. I am really happy that he is in Knights' Grove Care Home- it's a home-from-home for both of us.

Knights Grove is a wonderful card home! The staff are so caring and knowledgeable, and the activities coordinator is very motivated and resourceful.
My dad was admitted in December in a distressed state, and the staff immediately made him feel welcome. Fully recommend!

My mother has recently moved to Knights Grove from a local care home that was forced to close.
My mother has been shown such kindness and exceptional care.
The staff have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome. They have shown such compassion, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
All
the staff I have met so far have been extremely friendly and very professional.
My mother has recently had a chest infection, and the staff have been marvellous; they’ve been so attentive.
They come immediately when she calls them and has such a cheery disposition.
They’ve tempted her with a good choice of menu and have attempted to encourage her to eat.
The staff have helped her with personal hygiene. I always find her in freshly laundered clothes and in a clean bed.
The facilities are very good too. The place is always extremely clean and tidy.
I am delighted we found this care home and cannot fault the care in any way.

Mum was at the home for a short time but was supported with dignity and respect. I was kept informed of any issues or concerns, so felt I was included in her care. Due to health issues, Mum passed at the home. The staff there at that time were very compassionate with Mum and with myself, giving me alone
time to say goodbye, but supporting me if I needed it. Throughout Mum's stay, all management and staff have been uplifting and positive and I have felt Mum and I were important.

The way the team at Knights Grove safely embraced my father with love, friendship and care for the last 14 months of his life was a delight for my family to witness, they truly restored his spirit in this time and he was very happy and contented at the home. Excellent care home where staff care about their residents. They take the time to get to know residents and they look after the relatives too. Provided regular updates regarding my father's care and some exceptional staff who always go above and beyond. Would highly recommend and thank them all for

My much loved father was cared for at Knights Grove from May 2019 until he passed away recently, following a long illness and a range of complex needs that we could no longer manage at home.
My family and I are so very grateful for the care and attention 'Team Knights Grove' lavished upon my father
whilst he was with them; all of the staff treated him with such respect, kindness and patience. They were also a great support to us as a family during this sad and challenging time. A massive thank you to you all!
Knights Grove has a lovely homely feel; the team is highly skilled, friendly and positive, and they really care. Very highly recommended!

Excellent staff and the manager is the best we've had. One nurse, in particular, is very good, always has time for Mum. The home is very clean and Mum is very happy here. Very good rules during COVID and safety measures.

Mum is really happy and being looked after by fantastic staff. The home is beautiful and they are very welcoming. Mum receives excellent care and carers are so patient with mum. A nurse and the manager are brilliant. The receptionist is so helpful and great. All carers are lovely and so good with mum.

My Mum was at Knights' Grove for a very long time as she had complex care needs and early onset Dementia. Over the years I was visiting, firstly with my Dad, then on my own, I witnessed nothing but cheerful good humour, care and compassion towards my Mum. My Dad was on oxygen and himself very frail
but they treated him with love, care and understanding as he was very distressed by Mum's condition. Over the past 18 months of the Pandemic, they risked their lives to look after and keep the residents safe. I am truly grateful and humble. Thank you.

The home always kept me informed of how my loved one was doing, very well cared for. Very helpful and lovely staff. I wanted to say thank you to the staff for all the lovely care given to my loved one, giving them a sweet treat and a thank you card to remind them of us.

This past year I have not seen my friend due to COVID and because my friend is blind and hard of hearing, it was not possible to be in touch. The carers have been great. Giving me time on the telephone to talk about my friend's well-being. I am satisfied that they have given excellent care and kept
my friend safe.

Always welcoming and helpful on arrival and the care staff are happy to answer questions about my Dad. The home smells fresh and clean throughout and I have never visited Dad without him being well presented despite his condition. Thank you for allowing me to see him today after so long.

My mother has been a resident of Knightsgrove for over 6 years and although her condition has worsened, the continued care and kindness shown to her has been exceptional. Staff cannot be praised highly enough, always having the time to talk to residents relatives and to keep them informed of any relevant
concerns. The covid pandemic has also highlighted the importance of keeping loved ones safe and well. I feel the home has done this exceedingly well with the safety of residents being paramount. I would highly recommend this care home to anybody looking for a safe and happy home for a loved one.

My husband was a resident for two and a half years with Alzheimer's. After I was asked to remove him from 2 other care homes I was very disillusioned with finding care for him. He had changed with the disease and was not always the easiest person to manage. As the months went on in Knights' Grove, my
confidence grew and when we went into lockdown and I was unable to visit I had a weekly update from his nurse and was totally confident he was well looked after. Everyone knew him and I were polite, helpful and always a smile. I cannot stress enough the importance of placing a loved one with Alzheimer's in the care of a specialist care and nursing home and this one certainly has the experience.
When his condition changed I was called in given a Covid test and wearing PPE I was able to say my goodbyes in a calm and lovely room with all the support I needed. I thank them.

My mother was a resident at Knights Grove from October 2019 until she passed away in January 2021. Throughout her stay, she received the highest level of care from all the staff, not only managing her vascular dementia with skill and diplomacy but also meeting her complicated medical care too. The same
team looked after her throughout her stay meaning she had continuity of care and she had a wonderful relationship with her carers. She told me often how well she was looked after and she felt safe in their care which was very important to me. There is a lovely family-like atmosphere within the home. During visiting restrictions required by covid 19, the staff organised regular video calls and communication regarding my mother's care and condition were first class. At all times I knew my mother was being treated with care and dignity and have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful care home to others needing residential care for their loved ones.

My dear father has been a resident at Knights Grove for more than six years now.
He resides on the ground floor which is residential. Despite his advancing dementia and other health issues, he has been cared for by some of the kindest, most professional and caring staff who go above and beyond to make
sure he has everything he needs.
During the pandemic, they have made sure to keep me up to date on Dad's day to day health, and always make time to chat with me if I call to enquire after his wellbeing. Nothing is too much trouble. My anxieties regarding not being able to physically visit are always addressed and I feel more than confident that dad is getting the very best attention.
All of the staff in every department treat Dad as a dear friend. They will take time to encourage him to do things and never force him to do something he doesn't want to do.
A new manager has brought vibrancy and direction to the home. All in all, I am extremely happy to recommend Knights Grove!
