Recently refurbished, Knights Grove has been rated 'outstanding' by the CQC (March 2019) and has been purpose-built to offer high levels of tailored short, or long term, care for those living with dementia. Palliative care is also offered.

Situated in a quiet residential area of North Baddesley, close to local amenities, Knights Grove has been carefully designed to provide a safe and stimulating setting.

Accommodation includes bright and comfortable interiors set across three floors, and all bedrooms are en suite with views of the surrounding landscaped gardens.

The home’s chef ensures that mealtimes are an important and enjoyable time for residents. The home provides both hot and cold meal options for residents and works hard to ensure that all special dietary needs are catered for.

A professional team supports residents in continuing their hobbies and aim to give them access to any activity they wish.

Reminiscence therapy is also used within the home which residents enjoy and benefit from. Themed events and days out add to the busy social calendar.

Had a really special visit to Knights Grove Care Home today. After passing a Covid test, I was able to go into visit my mum in her room! I can't praise the staff enough for how well they handle the whole process. All PPE, social distanced, one way systems etc in place to make sure everything is as safe
as possible. The test procedure was quick, and the result only takes 30 minutes, and then I was able to visit mum, still with a face mask, but it was really lovely too, at last, to be in the same room. It was fantastic to see her being so well cared for. Thanks to all involved.

Lovely friendly staff, very happy with the care my grandfather is receiving and how they are communicating with the family during this lockdown period. My grandfather seems very happy there. Fantastic care home.

My mother would appear to have received superb care (given her severe confusion due to her Alzheimer's). During this extremely worrying lockdown period, staff have kept me fully informed, supplied images and it would seem Mum has received the sympathetic one-to-one care that she requires. I cannot speak
highly enough of one member of staff in particular. His regular updates and kind reassurance is very well received. My overall rating is excellent. Thank you.

The staff are generally kind, caring and helpful. The building itself is modern and well decorated. My father's room is a little cramped and sometimes not as clean as I would wish. Sometimes gloves, aprons etc left on the floor, surfaces sticky and toilet seat stained. Generally happy with the overall
care he receives at Knight's Grove and on the whole, I would recommend it.

The staff have been very caring towards my mother especially as her behaviour, due to dementia, is declining. I feel that she is in very good hands and even though it is sad to see her like this, I know the staff are doing all they can to provide her with a quality of life.

My father was until recently a resident at Knights' Grove on transfer from hospital. The care home and its staff are excellent. The staff are highly professional, compassionate and above all, caring. The nursing care was exemplary, the nurses took the time to coherently explain everything to do with
my dad's care and treatment. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Knights' Grove to anyone requiring excellent and compassionate nursing and dementia care.

I am very pleased with the care my husband is receiving. The carers are brilliant and do all they can to make the residents as happy and comfortable as possible. The cost is high and this year's price rise was a lot but I suppose it is expensive to look after someone with dementia 24/7.

My mother has been a resident of Knights' Grove for 8 years and has been very well looked after. I like the fact that many of the carers have been at the home for many years too.
They are all very kind, treat my mother and myself with respect and they are tuned into my mother's needs. The staff on
reception are to be commended too.

Whenever I visit the home, the staff are always polite and helpful. They also give the same care and attention to the residents. It is always good to learn about all the different activities that take place in the home and occasionally when residents are taken out by staff. There is a lovely atmosphere
whenever I go and take a service in the home.
