Recently refurbished, Knights Grove has been rated 'outstanding' by the CQC (March 2019) and has been purpose-built to offer high levels of tailored short, or long term, care for those living with dementia. Palliative care is also offered.

Situated in a quiet residential area of North Baddesley, close to local amenities, Knights Grove has been carefully designed to provide a safe and stimulating setting.

Accommodation includes bright and comfortable interiors set across three floors, and all bedrooms are en suite with views of the surrounding landscaped gardens.

The home’s chef ensures that mealtimes are an important and enjoyable time for residents. The home provides both hot and cold meal options for residents and works hard to ensure that all special dietary needs are catered for.

A professional team supports residents in continuing their hobbies and aim to give them access to any activity they wish.

Reminiscence therapy is also used within the home which residents enjoy and benefit from. Themed events and days out add to the busy social calendar.

My mum is always happy and well cared for in this home. The staff made an extra special effort so we could have a lovely birthday party with Mum. She is very loved and content and we would recommend the home thoroughly.

Knights' Grove is a friendly environment in which I felt incredibly welcomed as soon as I entered the building. The staff made it very clear that volunteers like myself are highly appreciated because we have the time to sit and chat to residents which can really help to lift their moods.
The home
is kept incredibly clean and is decorated nicely throughout. Also, the staff are friendly and respectful towards the residents, making sure that each resident is comfortable and satisfied throughout the day. Meals are served to the residents as if they were dining in a restaurant, which is lovely because it helps the residents to feel a sense of normality in their daily lives. Overall, Knights' Grove is a great home that provides a high standard of care, and I feel privileged that I get to volunteer alongside the lovely staff in making every day enjoyable for the residents.

When I visit my mother, I have a feeling that the home feels right and not just a building, it has a soul and care as soon as one comes through the door. The home in my view is a good home and the standards are high. Please carry on with the great job everybody is doing.

Mum is well cared for by caring, compassionate staff. Mum has never had a pressure sore which is remarkable in the years she has been here. The staff are always pleasant and cheerful.

I am unable to visit very often, but each time that I have done, my mother in law has been in good spirits and very well cared for. The staff provide a very friendly atmosphere and even as visitors, we are very well looked after.

Generally, the care is good. There have been a number of changes of manager, but the current manager seems very good. The accommodation is good and there are plans to redecorate to maintain a pleasant environment. A senior nurse who works on the floor that my mother is located on is especially dedicated,
kind and efficient. As with most care homes, recruiting and retaining care staff is a challenge, but more recently this seems to have improved - perhaps because of the management stability. Communication is effective between the care home and me and reception staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Activities staff are very committed and effective.

My mother has been a resident at Knights' Grove for almost two months and I am delighted with the care she has received. All the staff are so caring and show consideration and kindness to all the residents, frequently anticipating needs before they occur. The home is situated in a quiet part of North
Baddesley and has a very welcoming user-friendly garden which is secure and residents have easy access to it. They each have an individual bedroom with an en-suite bathroom both of which are clean and airy. They have a varied menu and are encouraged to eat by the choices and help they receive.
Since being here, my mother has become far more communicative and joins in with all the activities which are offered She is so often full of smiles it is lovely to see.

My grandmother became a resident at Knights' Grove after another care company could not meet her needs. From the moment she arrived at Knights' Grove, she was treated with respect and dignity. Staff understood her condition and met her emotional and physical needs.
Knights' Grove was her last home
and as a family, we seek comfort that she was cared for in such a professional and loving way.

Knights Grove in North Baddesley is an exceptional care home with both residential and nursing care. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely dedicated.
They have a varied selection of entertainers that perform throughout the week. The main highlight is that my father and all the other
residents are able to maintain dignity and wherever possible make decisions for themselves.
My father arrived from Lancashire being really anxious but from the first minute has settled in - treating Knights Grove as his home.

I have been very impressed with the standard of care provided. Without exception, the staff are very caring, professional and treat the residents with great patience and understanding. Extremely pleased with the care and service of Knights Grove and the staff. They acted extremely efficiently during an incident involving my mother. If it hadn't been for the staff's knowledge and speed and medicinal/nursing care, I'm sure my mother would have died.
