. I have always been made to feel welcome in the home, and when asked to outline any improvements that I felt necessary, they were promptly taken on board. The activities are many and various, although my stepmother is not a very outgoing or socially adept person, the opportunities are there to be taken up.
I am very impressed with the staff who are always 'on the ball' and I have noticed that all residents are treated with dignity and encouraged to keep as independent as possible.

Our Group Manager, Melanie, has worked in the Care Industry for 22 years, starting as a Support Worker and undertaking training to progress her career to Registered Manager. Melanie is customer focused and has a passion for continuously improving service provided through staff development and quality systems. Melanie has an excellent understanding of older people and prides herself on good working relationships with care professionals and service users families. As Group Manager, Melanie manages both Springfield and Prinsted with the support of Deputy Managers and Emma, Home Services Manager.

Emma has worked within the care home environment for over ten years and her role is to help anyone looking to stay in our homes, be it respite care or long term, saying “I feel privileged to be in a position that helps people at crisis point and assist with the smooth transition when moving into our homes”.
