Brunswick Court welcomes nursing, residential and dementia stays, convalescence, palliative, and respite care. It can also provide care for people living with Parkinson's or Huntington's. Residents can stay for however long loved ones need support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving complete peace of mind.

Purpose-built, Brunswick Court has many comfortable lounges that are ideal for socialising, relaxing or welcoming visitors. All bedrooms are en-suite with walk-in showers. Double rooms are also available for couples or those wishing to share.

The home is well placed in a quiet residential area of town – close to the centre of Watford, and Cassiobury park which many of the residents enjoying visiting during the summer months.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. Having its own large activities room and dedicated activities team, allows Brunswick Court to offer a 7-day activities programme. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. So whether loved ones already have a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there are lots of exciting activities to get involved in. Anyone is welcome to pop in and join in, whether a friend, relative or loved one.

The chef takes a personal approach to diet, and meals are catered to individual tastes. There are always cold snacks and alternatives available throughout the day. This home is open to local authority funded residents, get in touch to find out more.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, a lot of Covid lockdowns so not always easy to visit.

Brunswick Court is a very caring environment. All of the staff are thoughtful and helpful. Our father has a lovely light room. The meals that we have seen, look reasonably healthy and nicely cooked. We can recommend Brunswick Court.

I have been very happy with the care my mother has received from all the staff and all the support given to me and my family during Mum's stay. We have been well looked after and kept informed at every stage.

I have lived at Brunswick Court for over four years. I am looked after very well by the carers and feel safe and secure day and night. My room is comfortable and is kept clean by the staff. I attend some of the activities especially the music and exercise activities. The activities are run extremely
well. I am happy here.

It has been a pleasant stay in spite of Covid. The day and night staff are very helpful and friendly. They all made me very welcome. The meals have been good with plenty of choices to choose from.

The care home treatment has been really good this year, the day staff have been wonderful to my mum. This year everyone has looked after her well and kept her going. We are grateful to the day staff for keeping our mum safe.

Mum came in from the hospital for extended care. On admission, she was only able to use a hoist as couldn't walk or swallow food. She is now bright and happy, walking a few steps and eating normally. Staff are amazing, caring, friendly and keep us informed the whole time. Mum is so happy. We always
were adamant she would never go into care, but Brunswick has looked after her so well!

Because I was only there for a short time I did not join in the activities so cannot give an opinion on them. I would not have wanted to stay there long term because of the situation in a built-up area beside a busy road. I was finding living alone increasingly difficult and my daughter was looking
for a suitable care home near her. However, my health deteriorated suddenly and I went into Brunswick Court close to my home for respite care whilst long term arrangements were made.
When I went in I was very unwell but with the care I received I was much better by the time I left.

My son was a temporary resident following a stay in hospital. He has not mentioned any negative comments regarding his stay there. He is very happy to be returning home to resume his usual lifestyle.

My wife has now been at Brunswick Court for just over two months, having had an earlier two-week stay towards the end of 2020. She has been in very poor health but has been slowly regaining her strength to the point where we are hopeful that she will shortly be able to return home. She has been very
well cared for and generally very happy during her time at Brunswick Court. In particular, both she and I have found all of the staff to be lovely and caring. With Covid and all of the inevitable restrictions it has brought with it particularly as regards visiting, this has not been an easy time for anyone. But both the managers and staff at the home, have done all they can to make my wife's stay as good as it could be.

I spent a week’s convalescence here, to give me time between leaving hospital and going home. I needed to build up my strength and balance since I live alone. Brunswick Court’s kind and helpful staff allowed me to be virtually independent, apart from providing my own food but were always there to help
me if I needed support. Consequently, my return home went well and I felt quite confident.

My mother was at Brunswick Court some 5 years ago when her Parkinson’s Disease became too much for my elderly father to cope with. Their treatment of my father and their empathy for my father was exemplary. Now my father is unable to live alone some 5 years later. Brunswick Court has stood up to the
plate again during this pandemic. He was admitted via a 14 day period of isolation and they were truly excellent at this time. He is happy, putting on a little bit of weight and so we know he is being well looked after. He remembers some of the staff from my mother’s time and he asked to go to Brunswick ahead of all the other homes in the area. That speaks volumes for us. Thank you so much to all of the staff.
