Bushey House is a historic, Grade II listed building located in the heart of Bushey Village, close to Watford and NW London providing high quality residential and nursing care.

Set in stunning grounds with fantastic views, Bushey House has a welcoming coffee lounge with homemade cakes on entrance with further lounges and drawing rooms, for both residents and families to enjoy. A particular favourite is the Lawn Room, with panoramic views across the local countryside, followed closely by the bright conservatory leading to manicured grounds.

All the rooms are spacious with a touch of luxury and offer en-suite facilities throughout. Rooms can be personalised by each resident with pictures, furniture and other keepsakes important to them.

Bushey House offers 24 hour nursing care, residential care, respite and short term convalescence as well as end of life palliative care with nurses and a care team on hand 24 hours a day. The team of highly-qualified and attentive staff, focus on the individual needs of residents, with a tailored care plan for each individual. Their dedication can be seen across the board with a life enrichment program to meet each residents needs and interests.

Our friend was terminally ill and knew it himself. The staff dealing with him were amazingly attentive and supportive. If he asked for attention by ringing the bell, the response from staff was immediate.
Three of us were with him when he died. When the staff heard the news from us, we had sympathies
and hugs from staff. They then sat us down in a quiet area to settle ourselves and they brought us coffee.
Amazing service for which we are very grateful.

We had teething problems in the beginning that were dealt with in a very professional, caring way. So happy that my mum likes staying at Barchester Bushey House Beaumont. When we first arrived in the care park, we looked in through the kitchen window and were very impressed with the size and quality. The menu reflects that good first impression. My aunt is very happy here and though reluctant at first, now joins in with many of the activities.

From the first telephone conversation, to visiting the home, to check out, was brilliant. We were shown the grounds, the rooms, the customer waiting room, the dining area, all were very nicely decorated. I would recommend this facility to anyone. I can also say they accommodated both my parents in one
room.

I have been staying at Barchester Bushey House every August for the last three years and have loved it, for respite care. The quality of care is outstanding; the staff are incredibly kind and caring. The home boasts a happy, cheerful atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good, and nutritious
with plenty of choice. The grounds are spacious and pleasant to view. The recent refurbishment of rooms is tastefully designed and eye-catching. It's been a pleasure to stay at this care home.

My wife and I came to your home with two specific problems. my wife had a spinal problem and diabetes. I was a full hip replacement and joined my wife four days later.
Your care team and medical team were caring and professional at all times, you should be very proud of your whole team. We booked
for two weeks respite but because of the very special care, we extended our stay a further week. We now feel the benefit of staying longer. We would recommend your home to anyone who needs care. Thank you.

My brother sadly requires palliative care which was a great shock to the family. Bushey Beaumont has been absolutely fantastic. The care he receives is exceptional and the time they all spend with him has really helped him to become happy and content. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the support
the family have received and for everything they have done for my brother since he was admitted two weeks ago. The home is always clean and fresh and his room is fantastic. I would highly recommend this home.

My brother-in-law recently required palliative care and was moved to Bushey Beaumont. Since he has been there we have seen such a big improvement in him. He is comfortable and happy. The staff are so kind, caring and attentive. The care he has received has been excellent. They have been really supportive
throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend this home.

Came here for respite having been in hospital for mycoplasma pneumonia for much-needed rest and recuperation. This is the first respite I have ever been to and Barchester Bushey House Beaumont was recommended and turned out to be a very good choice. I am now feeling stronger and this is due to the care
and attention of the staff throughout the home. Everybody has been very kind. As I didn't need medical attention very much, the nurses were always on hand should I need them. The meals were delicious and I am going to miss the variety of cooking!
The manager was always on hand to speak to and I appreciated her experience and kindness in making me feel at home! Would recommend it.

I have been at Bushey House since April 2022. I qualified as a nurse in 1991 working in the NHS from 1999 to 2016. I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and have supported care homes for many years.


We aspire to be the most respected home in the area. My passion is to ensure that our residents are provided with the very best of care, dignity, respect and support to enable them to live a healthy and happy life.

Hello, I joined Barchester at Bushey House Beaumont in March 2023 as a student postgraduate from Roehampton University in London, following her studies in MBA HR at Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottaya India.


Before coming to the UK, I was a professional dancer, junior artist in Indian Movies and national wrestler and martial arts judo player.


I want to progress in my role as a healthcare practitioner and when I'm not at work or studying, I enjoy working out at my local gym as well as speaking with my grandparents in India via video call.

Avni's passion for his cooking is reflected in the delivery of his food. Having won Barchester's Chef of the Year in 2008.


He and his team continue to produce inviting and delicious menus, if there is nothing on the menu you like ask and he will endeavour to please.


Avni is also one of the leaders of the Chef Academy wherein they are responsible for training new Chefs.


He has also continued to uphold the 5-star dining experience award of Barchester.

My role is to ensure the home is kept safe and clean. I am also the Infection Control Champion working closely with the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of hygiene in the home. I love to look after our beautiful residence and to make it inviting and comfortable for residents and their visitors.


I love spending time with family and friends including going to the cinema and sampling new restaurants.

I look after the general home standards and also new residents coming into the home. I will be the first point of contact should you wish to enquire about care for yourself or your loved one to come and stay at Bushey House Beaumont. I have studied two degrees in Ecology and Environmental Management and Theology with Religious Studies. I have a varied work background including the homeless person and elderly care sectors. Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking and church activities.
