Hill House provides nursing, residential and short stay care, as well as residential rehabilitation for the young and old. Hill House is a spacious, elegant eighteenth-century building converted to provide residential and nursing care, for long and short term needs. As well as supporting elderly residents, staff welcome those who are 18 and over and living with a physical disability or neurological condition, such as multiple sclerosis, in need of residential care.

Residents can expect a high standard of care in the midst of a friendly community. With each of their cosy bedrooms, residents can enjoy the convenience of an en suite, and there are lovely views across the gardens and surrounding countryside.

There are lots of places to relax, including the choice of six lounges. Residents can cosy up with a book in the library, use the computer room, or enjoy being pampered in the salon.

The large gardens are especially tranquil because they back onto a small area of woodlands. Within the walled space, residents can stroll along the paths, rest under the pergola, or catch-up with loved ones on the patio.

They want residents to settle in quickly and be happy here. That’s why they help them to hold onto as much independence as possible.

There’s also good food, lots to do, and a warm welcome for friends and family whenever they visit.

The team of activity coordinators plan all sorts of interesting things to do, including those who are less mobile. All activities are tailored to each person's likes and abilities too.

The chef prepares a range of delicious foods, including some family favourites and kosher meals.

My father has been a resident of Hill House for almost 3 months now, during that time the staff have worked hard to help him settle in.
It is particularly reassuring to have nursing care 24/7 and the nursing staff have been excellent - diligent and professional.

The staff are 1st class, very helpful and understanding, putting the residents first. Always willing to speak with family members and keeping them up to date. This is always with a smile. Keep up the good work, staff on the 1st floor North.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Arrange a variety of activities to suit all residents. Rooms are clean and residents well looked after. Nice grounds with areas to sit in. All round a very pleasant atmosphere.

I am very satisfied with the care provided. I enjoy many of the activities provided, especially the exercise classes, quizzes, card games and scrabble. The activities coordinator regularly goes out of her way to accommodate the requests of the residents.

Since the care manager has returned we have seen that standards have risen sharply. He has an excellent rapport with the residents which works wonder for their wellbeing and happiness. He is always looking for ways to improve all areas in the home and we hope that he continues with this work. Very happy

I made many friends whilst in the care home and had the best of care. The activities were very welcome. I was made to feel very special. Although I have returned home I miss everyone at Hill House. The only downfall was I gained two stone from eating the excellent meals.

Mum looking very well, comfortable in the knowledge that she is being well cared for. Room is clean and smells nice as is her bathroom - lights left on as requested. My only concern is that her radio is left on, as she enjoys it, as at times I have come in and the radio is off or on a different channel
to her classified FM. Staff are friendly and giver clean information, I had a concern over her catheter, but staff were quick to rectify situation.
