Attended the Halloween party and had a wonderful time, a first-class singer, and lovely staff. The food was absolutely perfect couldn't have wished for anything more. Look forward to many more enjoyable events. Will see you soon.

My dad spent his last few weeks, surrounded by his family. The care home were very accommodating and made every effort to listen to our wishes for our dad. The atmosphere in Eaton lodge was very much a family feel, and this made my father's time comfortable and less clinical. I would like to thank everyone
at the home for making his last few weeks as peaceful as it could be. The respect and dignity he had, will always be remembered by all his family.

I wanted to thank all the staff for looking after my grandad over the past year and a bit. He was struggling at home, doing daily tasks, but now he is being looked after by supportive staff who look after his every need. As a family, we couldn't be happier with the care. Especially when he became very
poorly, and needed even extra care and attention.

My sister has been in the care home for two and a half years now. Overall, she has received a good standard of care. She is bedridden, so I can only comment on her room and her personal care. Her room is basic but adequate for her needs. She is always clean and tidy when I visit. She enjoys the food
and is always given a choice. The staff are pleasant and approachable.

Everyone has been extremely warm and welcoming not only to my father but to my family as a whole. My father's individual needs and interests are adhered to which has made a very difficult time all the more manageable

All staff are very patient and really make the effort with the care and needs of the individuals. When it's the residents' birthdays they make them feel very special. Food is well presented and tasty. The home in general is tidy and clean.

My mum has been so well looked after since arriving at Eaton Lodge Nursing Home. The staff are so caring and really do everything they can to ensure their patients are comfortable and happy. Since being there, her physical health has improved so much in a short space of time. They are always consulting
with me and letting me know what is going on.
It is such a difficult decision placing your parent into a nursing home and relinquishing responsibility to others. However, she needed professional care and nursing, something we could not provide. We definitely made the right choice in choosing Eaton Lodge. Highly recommended.

We sense that our aunt is happy and very well cared for. We find the staff very available, attentive and in evidence and they provide a cheery, positive and can-do atmosphere.
On those visits that involve lunch, the food looks excellent and our aunt eats well and has no complaints.
Certainly, we
feel that the staff ‘know’ her.
If our aunt had more access daily to natural light in her own bedroom that would be super but we understand, logistically, that’s tricky.

We are all naturally concerned and distressed when a family member unfortunately finds themselves in need of end of life care. The staff at Eaton Lodge are first-class at looking after every aspect of your loved one at this difficult time. Being adjacent to the local surgery ensures access to further
specialist support, if required. Visiting relatives are looked after well and kept fully informed at all times. After a difficult period of home care, Mum appeared calm and comfortable from the outset every time I visited, which is a source of great comfort, particularly if you live a long way away. During her short stay, St Patrick's Day came along and the staff organised some themed events, which Mum thoroughly enjoyed. I gather this, and other activities, are a regular thing. Would thoroughly recommend you consider Eaton Lodge for any care home requirements.

The staff at Eaton Lodge have been amazing looking after my grandad and also my grandma when she goes to visit! The staff are always friendly and welcoming with a cup of tea. The home is never smelly or dirty and they have interesting activities going on every couple of weeks. My son (six) is always
happy to visit the home too. All of the residents love talking to him and the staff treat him so nicely, offering different snacks, drinks and activities to do by himself or with the residents! His favourite is to place rings on the floor and get all of the residents in the lounge to throw bean bags into their coloured ring. My grandad is settled in the home and is treated really well. He is quite happy there and the nursing side has improved his quality of life. I wouldn't pick anywhere else to house my grandad!

Very pleased with the friendly staff. They care for my relative with care and thoughtfulness. The meals are aimed at older people and residents are catered for. The place smells pleasant and clean. There are many activities that include those who are unable to leave their rooms.

My dad has been a resident of Eaton Lodge for just over a year. Not only do they look after dad well but also mum and other family members when they visit and are always made welcome by the staff and a cup of tea.


There are activities organised by the entertainment manager which has seen them do

different activities and celebrate special days such as Saints Days, Easter and I am sure next week the coronation. Birthdays are a big thing celebrated in style too.


I am happy with the care given and received at Eaton Lodge except for one thing. There are times when despite everything being labelled dad is not wearing his own clothes or we see other residents in dad's clothes. It doesn't seem to be a priority but I feel the residents lose a bit of dignity when wearing someone else's clothes. I asked dad what he thought and he said it is a first class place, with first class food, always clean and tidy and he feels looked after well and says the staff can't do enough for him. Thanks.

During my mother in laws short stay at Eaton Lodge she was cared for by staff who made the effort to get to know her and make her comfortable, and as a family we felt that we were always welcome to visit her at any time. We feel that we chose the right place for mum to spend her last days.

My mum was in a home 70 miles from her home which made it very difficult to visit her, and her health deteriorated rapidly. Eaton Lodge staff helped to have her transferred to their residential premises in October 2022. Her whole demeanour changed, she was talking, smiling, and from time to time recognised
family when they visited. She was taking part in activities that the staff were helping her with. She had a lovely Christmas. During January she started to deteriorate, the care they gave was second to none, they were amazing. She passed away the day before her 88th birthday. They helped organise her leaving the home. They will never be forgotten. Our family will be forever grateful to them.
