I wish to thank the staff for the care given to my father whilst at Elvy Court.
He stayed there for at least three years.
Unfortunately, he contracted the Coronavirus and passed away soon afterwards.
During his last few days, no-one left his side for which I'm grateful as for obvious reasons
family
couldn't be there for him.

Elvy Court is modern, light and well managed. The staff are caring and attentive. The rooms are a good size with nice views. There is a very nice coffee/tea area and a private T.V/Movie room. Overall I am very happy with the care and facility for my mum.

My mother entered Elvy Court for end of life care. Unfortunately, she was not there for more than one week, but the care she received in that week was amazing. All staff were kind, caring respectful. They were nothing short of extraordinary in their dealings with my mother, and they made the last few
hours bearable. I would wholly recommend the nursing home without hesitation.

I find the care staff during the day to be very caring and helpful. All staff from reception to the kitchen always call me by my first name and the kitchen staff often make something else if my friend doesn't want what is on offer for lunch.

Nurses and Carers at Elvy Court are supportive, kind and respectful to both residents and families. They have a difficult job to do and do it well.
The Activities team do their very best to involve residents in activities they will enjoy.
All admin, kitchen and domestic staff are friendly and helpful.
We are so pleased that we moved Mum to Elvy Court in March 2018 from her previous home. The care she receives at Elvy is far superior.

My mother has been in Elvy Court for a year now, she loves the food and the carers can't do enough to help her. The activities lady deserves 10/10 for her commitment towards the residents having fun. She really is a superstar.
My mother is well cared for and has never been unhappy there. There are
about four regular carers my mum has who know her well and she finds this comforting with the familiarity.

My mum has been in the home now for over 2 months.
My dad is elderly and spends most of the day with her.
The care shown to my mum has been wonderful and my dad is well catered for also.
They are both looked after by a lovely team of nursing and auxiliary staff.
The facilities are very nice, the
room is kept lovely and the food is very good.

The staff are very caring and professional. It's sometimes difficult to cater for everybody's likes and dislikes, but they do try hard.


The rooms are freshly decorated and clients can have their possessions around them. I believe this helps. The staff organise events to encourage clients and visitors

to mix socially. These are always a success. Well done.

My uncle was at Elvy Court, the care he was given was excellent. Staff were always friendly very polite and approachable. They were always able to answer my questions professionally. The home always smelt clean and was well kept. My uncle always looked clean and tidy and shaved every day.

My mother was transferred to Elvy Court following a fall at her own home in which she broke her hip, and despite surgery, my Mother was unable to regain her ability to self-support. Advanced vascular dementia and increasing inability to eat, meant that she was unable to return home.


The staff and

management at Elvy Court gave my Mother excellent patient-centered care, keeping her as comfortable as was possible and making every effort with huge patience to assist with her meals. Her room was clean and well equipped for her needs and it had a pleasant outlook. As frequent visitors, all family members were met with friendship from the staff and in my Mothers last days, we were made to feel welcome to spend anytime day and night at our mother's bedside, with the use of the staff kitchen to make ourselves drinks as and when we needed them.


My sister and I had visited all care homes in the area ahead of our Mother being admitted into Elvy Court and are absolutely certain that we had made the right choice.

My Mum was resident at Elvy Court for 7 years. The care was always good, but since the new manager was appointed, the quality of care and the atmosphere of the home has improved so much. The staff are absolutely amazing, caring, welcome, polite and always helpful. My Mum's medical condition started
to deteriorate and Mum had the best care we could ever wish for. The manager was so involved in her care and she comforted us as much as she could. We just knew Mum is in very good hands. A big Thank you to everybody for all you kindness and care .

Job Title: Home Mananger

Louise has been a registered nurse for 11 years and has been working as a care home manager since 2018. Louise joined the Avery family as the Home Manager at Elvy Court in January 2023.


Louise is also registered with the NMC as a specialist practitioner district nurse and last year was very proud to be awarded the title of Queens Nurse from the Queens Nursing Institute, a registered charity dedicated to improving the nursing care of people at home and in the community.
