My friend was admitted to Chestfield House in December 2024. From day one he was treated with great care and compassion, all the staff I came into contact with were friendly and helpful, nothing was too difficult. The nursing staff were always available and approachable.
My friend's room was clean
and well maintained.

My 93yr old Mother was a resident from May 2024 until February 2025 and over that period the manager and all her team at Chestfield House have been simply marvelous with their kind, attentive and sympathetic care they provide.
There are no visiting times, just turn up when ever you want (if late at
night let them know), with this in mind, mum was always dressed, washed and in clean bedding right up to the end. Through Mum's health ups and downs, the staffs and doctors communication has from day one been excellent, we never felt out of the loop.

I would like to thank all of the staff for their kindness, dedication and professionalism while caring for my late father. His stay was short but at that time he was clean and tidy with fresh clothes every day, and his room was always clean. I would also like to thank them for their friendliness and
patience with us both. I was able to visit any time during the day which was a huge bonus. It is extremely well run and the staff and management should be very proud of themselves.

Brilliant staff and care from start to finish, always willing to go the extra mile.
I would like to say, if I was I the same situation again I would recommend Chestfield House in a heartbeat.

My father is a resident at Chestfield house since February 2019, even though his quality of life has diminished through old age and his medical condition over the years, the care he receives at the home is excellent. He is always clean and tidy, the clothes are laundered and returned promptly. His dietary
needs are meet and reviewed regularly. All the facilities and residents rooms are clean and tidy, they may be a little dated in decor, but very homely rather then being like a hotel room that you would visit whilst taking a holiday, you are allowed to bring your own personal belongings to help make it more personal to each individual resident. The staff are very caring, accommodating and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, there are regular activities for the residents to join in if they wish to, majority of the staff have been their since my father arrived, so that alone speaks volumes. The home is very family orientated you can visit or ring anytime.

Mum was in Chestfield House for a month before she sadly passed away. Her room was clean, comfortable and we were allowed to bring anything we wanted in to personalise it. The manager, and her staff were caring, respectful and kind to mum and all her family members, who were made to feel welcome any
time. Mum's personal care was excellent and every day her clothes were changed, laundered and returned.
Overall I was very happy with the care mum received and would recommend Chestfield House to anyone looking for a nursing home. At a difficult time, the manager and the staff made sure mum was as comfortable as possible and I am very grateful for that.

The care, kindness and compassion cannot be faulted. The staff have a difficult job, but showed nothing but gentleness and thoughtfulness throughout. I can never thank them enough for looking after my poorly mother and supporting me as well. With regard to accommodation, to be honest, the home is in
need of updating in respect of furniture, sleeping etc. Overall, I am very happy with the care my mother received in the final days of her life. The staff deserve a medal.

My mother-in-law, sadly, died on 1st October at the grand old age of 104!! She had been a resident in Chesterfield House for nearly 6 years. She arrived in December 2018 for end of life care. But the staff had other ideas and within a year she had gained weight and was happy and definitely, thankfully,
was nowhere near end of life. The management and nursing teams made her last years so full and happy. She loved every minute she was there and loved every member of staff. I really cannot thank them enough for the unbelievable work they do. Long may it continue.

The manager and staff were friendly, caring and supportive, could not do more for my mum while she was there under palliative care. While the staff were excellent, I feel the whole building could do with a complete upgrade, although I felt comfortable that my mother was secure. Can't praise the staff
enough.

My 96-year-old mother was given a wonderful welcome by the staff at Chestfield Nursing Home when she arrived last month. The dedicated and kind staff are what make this care home a good place to be for vulnerable elderly people. The home has strong, caring leadership, nothing has been too much trouble
to sort out or arrange for my mum. Visiting is welcome at any time of day. My family and l are very happy with the choice we made and feel confident to recommend Chestfield Nursing Home.

We live overseas so had very little opportunity to visit my Father. The staff at Chestfield became his surrogate family.
Each time I phoned, whoever I phoned knew my Father and knew what was happening with him. They provided him with excellent, loving care and this will forever be appreciated. Many,

When a very dear relative came to Chesterfield House for end-of-life care we as a family cannot thank the manager and all her staff for the first-class care and attention to detail. They were very kind considerate and very subtle in their approaches and made us feel happy in the knowledge that great
care and attention was being carried out. Even on our visits, their kindness to us was second to none, especially in the final days our our dear family member. We cannot thank them enough for their continued care and kindness during our visits and to our dearest relatives. Thank you all so much it was very much appreciated.

Excellent nursing home my 95-year-old mother-in-law who has severe dementia has only been at Chestfield House for a few weeks but the difference in her is incredible, from being at home where she was always tired and sleeping most of the day, she was eating and drinking very little, she was struggling
to swallow, she had a fall 2 months ago and cut her leg very badly we didn't think her leg would heal, at Chestfield house with the care of the manager and her very caring competent staff she is more lively, her eyes are clear her skin no longer sallow and she is eating and drinking very well and her leg is healing nicely.
Her room is very comfortable and warm, although she doesn't partake of all the activities that are on offer very often, she does like to watch the other residents.
Chestfield House has taken so much pressure off us as a family.
Visiting is 24-7 so we can enjoy our time with her and know she is being looked after very well and professionally.

Excellent communication with the staff from day one. We are always able to speak to someone either by phone or when visiting. My mother has been in the home for just over 12 months and we cannot fault the level of care she has received. The room is always very clean and the staff all seem to make time

The care and attention my stepmother received from the first day to the last day of her time there, far exceeded our expectations on every level.
It quickly became apparent to us, that the manager and her entire staff weren't just professional people carrying out their duties, but were a well-managed
team, working together to give each resident the best possible care. They did so always with a smile, dignity, and compassion.
This care and attention was afforded not only to Mum but to any family and friends that visited.
No request was too much trouble for any of the staff.
I can only offer my heartfelt thanks to the entire team, at a difficult time for us, it was a pleasure knowing each and every one of you.
I would recommend Chestfield House to anyone without any hesitation.

From the very first time Muim set foot in the care home, they could not do enough for her. The manager and every one of her staff were amazing. The whole place had a friendly welcoming vibe to it. The care Mum got was the best we could wish for. Had a lovely room and she was very happy there and was

Our Father, Grandfather, and great-grandfather were placed under the care of Chestfield House. Up until the sudden illness he had lived with us at home, independent of his personal needs, so moving to a home was a hard decision.
