I must say what a wonderful time I had at a picnic, hosted at the Red House. It was such a wonderful afternoon and the activities manager was everywhere with a smile. The entertainment was surprisingly good with tea and cake, plus a friendly atmosphere. You couldn't get a better day. I just wanted to
say thank you all.

Thank you for your lovely review. Feedback is very important to us so we can continually monitor and improve standards. Glad you enjoyed the picnic and hope you can join us on future events. Family interaction with residents is a crucial part of their wellbeing and we encourage families to join in on any activities or outings organised by the Home.

Now we are able to see my uncle inside the Red House, we are always happy with the service he gets. The activities coordinator is always happy to converse with myself about what my uncle has been up to and if he requires anything. The whole of the staff are always keeping me informed of any changes
to my uncle's condition, which I'm very grateful for, and he is well looked after.
The standard of care is excellent.

Thank you for the positive review.
It has been a very challenging time for both residents and relatives in terms of ease of communication and visits over the last two years. We are glad to be able to welcome back families to the Red house.
We know how important it is for families to stay informed about their loved ones, and our staff take great pride in being the link between residents and their families. Over 90% of our staff have been with us for over 5-years, so they have built a great personal relationship with the residents which makes communication very easy and personal. Your feedback will be passed on to them. Thank you.

Since my mother became a resident at the Red House Nursing Home she has received the best care imaginable delivered with a smile and much kindness.
The staff, must be commended for their empathy and tolerance, thus giving relatives the reassurance that it is a happy environment for all concerned.
The
food always looks good and the rooms are spotless as is my mother who is bedridden but bathed and changed every day. Hairdressing and a chiropodist can be arranged and there are trips out for those who are able and indoor activities on offer, for instance, in early November there was a marvellous firework display plus mulled wine and nibbles for both residents and families.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend the Red House.
