We looked at four other homes before deciding on placing our mum at Warwick Park. The home has undergone major works and looks lovely. What made the decision for us was the atmosphere. You feel like you are in a home rather than a big hospital. It was the staff that made the atmosphere, they are all
so caring and obliging. We know mum is very happy there.

I have been visiting my friend that is a resident at Warwick Park very often. When I visit her she always looks very well cared by the staff. Everything always cleaned. Staff is excellent, very friendly.

The hospital facilitated my transfer with straps and a damaged permanently left shoulder which makes using a Zimmer frame impossible.


There has been no follow up to the clinic by the hospital so hopefully, the home will phone on my behalf.


The home is very well-run with staff who are competent

and very compassionate.

Dear Sue, our activities programme continues to evolve but was recently rated excellent by the independent body Healthwatch. Also, our fees are very competitive for the area, and we provide high quality refurbished or newly built rooms. Your fees were also covered by the NHS enablement team.

My mother was treated with great kindness and care during her time at Warwick Park Nursing Home. The staff are wonderful, nothing was too much and the building is excellent (once finished). I will miss the people there and will always be grateful mum's last months were there.

The staff made my mother's last few weeks very comfortable. Everyone was friendly and caring to her, and to me. The room was spacious, clean and well laid out . I could not have asked for a better place for her.

I came to Warwick Park from another care home - the bed is very good and plenty of it, staff are lovely and very kind. When I came to Warwick Park I was not able to walk but I can manage 3-4 yards now. Staff take me out for a walk down to the pantiles and up to the park. I have been on several trips
which I always enjoy.

Narrow passages, tight corners and a very small lift make the building of limited usefulness to a wheelchair user. Most of the staff are foreign workers, some with only a limited command of English. Nevertheless, they are very kind, patient and caring in their approach and every effort is made to meet
individual needs. Food and drink are plentiful and usually, some choice is offered, quality variable but often very good.

I have been living here for a few months, the nurses are very kind, the food is good and other residents are quite nice and chatty. I like to watch others, knitting, painting and doing jigsaws. I go out for walks with staff and I nearly went on a trip on the riverboat but did not feel up to it on the
day. The pictures of the trip we lovely. I have put my name down for the next one.

I have been living here for a few months now. I moved from another care home which was very good and I was worried about the move but I should not have worried, the staff are really very good and caring. I like the activities we have, just come back from a lovely outing enjoying tea and cake whilst

I have worked in healthcare for over a decade and have been a registered nurse since 2007. Have a vast experience in different nursing departments.


Being part of MG Homes, I and our multi-disciplinary team of nurses, carers, domestic, and kitchen staff, will work together in order to deliver the best person-centred care to those we support.


I have been part of the MG Homes team since 2014. I started as a registered nurse, in 2016 I was promoted to deputy manager and in 2018 I was promoted to manager.

I have worked in the Healthcare sector since 2011. I started as a care assistant, then progressed into care co-ordinator, field care supervisor and now HR administrator at MG Homes.


I joined MG Homes to expand my knowledge of the care sector within the administration field of the Head Office. I get great fulfilment in supporting our staff, relatives and residents throughout the longevity of their stay with us.

I have been working at MG Homes for 3 years. My role as Activities Coordinator is varied and life-affirming. I have gathered a wealth of wisdom that people have generously shared with me, and I continue to learn as I accompany individuals. I'm very fortunate that my job allows me to take time to be with people and that's what I love about my job.


My greatest point of pride is Warwick Park being recognised for great and memorable activities and events.

I have been working for MG Homes for about 6 months and have over 40 years of experience in the facilities field. My experience as a facilities manager in the NHS for 18 years has brought me here to gain more experience.

I moved back from Wales over ten years ago and wanted to get a job so I could use my property maintenance skills. For 10 years I worked as a Maintenance Manager at MG Homes. I love my job; it gets me involved with the residents and I am happy to contribute to their well-being by keeping their rooms nice and tidy.


My best achievement so far is receiving compliments from residents and their families about the appearance of both homes, communal areas and residents' bedrooms. I have recently moved into the position of Facilities Administrator, and there is a lot of administrative work behind the maintenance. I continue to enjoy my work and improving the lives of residents.
