I am so thankful for this home. The management and staff have been so kind, understanding and helpful. I love their cheerful attitude and how they interact with the residents. They seem to work well together as a team.
Recently it was my father's birthday and they went above and beyond.
Very thankful.

On arrival to view this property I became aware of the tranquil atmosphere and detected no odour as I was given the advice to detect. The member of staff showing me around led me but was not pushy in any way and gave me space to form my own opinion. The decor was classic, good quality and the colours
seemed to enhance my mood, even though this was a task I was dreading. My dad's final address - but all seemed very uplifting and positive and my sister and I became very pleased with our choice.

My father came here in October 2018 straight from hospital. It had been a long journey of falls and infections at home and the time had come to find a nursing home. I already knew of it from other people and was relieved there was a room available. From day one I knew my father would get the best of
treatment and care. But also the attention to detail, professionalism and kindness has helped my family no end.
We have said how much we have enjoyed visiting my father here. Sadly, he passed away this week in his lovely room with all the kindness and expertise of all the staff and I feel comforted it was done as it should be.

My dad was very well looked after in the last few days of his life, very caring people around him and lovely and clean home, well looked after. Could not fault Wells Lodge as we visited every day and all family were made welcome and staff were amazing.

We as a family, recommend Wells Lodge for the best care a person could have. All the staff have done their best for our dad in every possible way. We as a family, visited every day and were always welcome. Dad had a warm lovely room, where he was happy looking out over the garden at birds and squirrels.

I have found the managers, nursing staff and carers are all very good. The entertainment staff also. The facilities, cleanliness stimulation. Where the nursing home is situated are all excellent. I have also found the care of residents excellent. The gardens are well cared for and weather permitting
residents can sit outside. It is a place I would like to spend when my time came.

When I visit a resident at least twice a month, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, but more importantly, they are lovely with the residents, gentle, fun, very patient and always create a positive atmosphere. They pay attention to detail and ensure dignity is preserved. Hygiene in the building
is of a high standard.

My mother was only in Wells Lodge for 3 weeks. The outstanding level of care she received was magnificent. Every member of staff was excellent. She received the highest standard of care and was given the greatest of dignity.
I cannot thank every single person enough for what they did for my Mum.

In these times when all we hear are the negatives about care homes, my faith has been restored in the knowledge that there are places who are not solely out for money, and where their sole concern is for the resident and not their shareholders/owners.
