Thank you for taking the time to review us, we really appreciate hearing what you have to say about our home, we pride ourselves on our high standard of care and I am sorry you feel this has not been met. With regards to the time it takes to answer the bell there may, on occasion, be a short delay as the carers may be with other residents however, we continually try to reduce the waiting time with regular reviews on staffing levels taking into consideration the individual needs of the residents. As always we have an open door policy and should you find yourself in our home again we encourage you to raise any issues with our home manager.

She has flourished since going into The Albany. Everywhere is always kept very clean, there is a hairdresser who goes in every week, there are quiet areas if you want to go and have a bit of privacy and a lovely bright conservatory. Tea/coffee is always on offer whatever the time of day. My aunt loves it so much she would love to stay, when I left last week, all the staff and residents were joining in to put up the Christmas tree and decorations, everyone was involved.
Am looking forward to the festive fun on offer for them this week.

With regards to the smell of urine, we had a particular issue with one of the bedrooms on this floor, but we are in the process of removing and replacing this carpet to avoid this issue in the future.

We are sorry to hear your concerns about the food and dining here at The Albany. At The Albany, we firmly believe that when you eat well, you live well too. This is a core part of our Brighterkind philosophy of care, centring on good nutrition and the importance of mealtimes as a social occasion. We have a five-star rating from the EHO (Environmental Health Organisation) and our most recent Customer Satisfaction Survey revealed an 85% satisfaction score for our customers with food and dining. All of our food is prepared in-house and is extremely fresh.
