Hi, my name is Nisha Shaji and I am the Acting General Manager here at Glebefields Care Home. I have worked in the UK since 2011 and completed my Master's in Nursing from John Moore’s University, Liverpool.

I have worked as a nurse since 2008 in clinical practice and teaching nursing students. I am a hard-working person and enjoy the challenges of this profession. I am a person who learns and leads by experience. I believe in teamwork and I am dedicated to our residents and to providing the best-personalised care possible.

I enjoy working with the elderly and vulnerable to meet their needs based on individualised expectations. We as a team, aim to be transparent and like to be approachable.

Hi, My name is Benazir Shakkir I am very attentive to the work I do and I make sure that all my residents are safe and all their needs are been fulfilled on time. I completed my BSc Nursing from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala in 2011 and worked in A.J Hospital at Trivandrum in the Pediatric Department then I moved to Saudi Arabia to the Ministry of Health Hospital and working in Level 3 NICU department and currently I am working at Glebefields December 2020, it has been 18 months and I feel that I have spent happy time working at Glebefields.

Hi, My name is Devi Balasubramaniyan. I completed my Nursing degree in 2017 and worked as Registered Nurse in a clinical practice and oncology department. I have started working in Glebefields since 2021. I am proud to be a Nurse as I get to make the residents comfortable, and can care for them with a bucket of smiles. I like to work as a team to make difference every day. I always believe that caring for elders is something big thing which I can do for myself and also for my loved ones.

Hi, My name is SundarRaj. I have completed my BSC in Nursing from Sri Ramakrishna College of Nursing in India.

Before Joining Glebefields Care Home in September 2022, I worked as an Emergency Nurse at KIMS hospital, India.

Here I have joined as a Senior Care Assistant and managed to take care of the well-being and needs of our residents at Glebefields Care Home. I have done my care practitioner program in Barchester. I have completed my nursing exam in the UK. I am proud to be a Nurse as I get to make the residents comfortable and care for them with buckets of smiles. I like to work as a team to make a difference every day. I am proud to say that I am a part of this wonderful team and I love working at Glebefields.

Hello, I'm Biju the home administrator for Glebefields care home. I completed my Post graduation in 1995, and have worked in prestigious companies in India, and as a Financial Controller in the United Arab Emirates. I enjoy my role and providing support to our residents and families. As part of the management team, we're dedicated and passionate about providing an outstanding quality of service to make the residents’ lives within Glebefields happy and positive.

Hi, my name is Dinesh and I'm the Admin Assistant here at Glebefields. You’ll usually find me at reception where I’ll be happy to assist you with any enquiry you might have. I completed my HRM master’s degree in the year 2021 at Coventry University. I joined the Barchester family in July 2022 and really enjoy my role. I love getting to know our residents and their families.

Barchester gave me an opportunity to develop my organisational and working skills and do what I love the most, which is being around many different people.

Hi, my name is Kay and I’m the Activities Lead for all things ‘Life Enrichment’ at Glebefields care home in Drayton, Banbury.

Throughout my career within the care industry, I have thrived o the many challenges presented and developed immense satisfaction through enabling others. As an activities coordinator, I act with integrity and always ensure that I place residents at the heart of what I do. I work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service. Hi, I'm Ashitha, and I'm proud to be part of the team at Glebefields Care Home as an Activities Assistant. I joined the Glebefields family in 2023, having earned my master’s degree in electrical engineering from Coventry University in the UK. Despite my engineering background, I bring a fresh perspective to enriching the lives of our residents. I enjoy creating an environment where they can have fun, connect with others, and stay mind-active. Together with my co-workers, I'm dedicated to making every moment special for our residents, bringing happiness and meaning to their lives. It's an honour to be part of such a compassionate and dedicated team at Glebefields Care Home.

I am Siju James, I completed my Nursing qualification in the year 2015 from India. I started working as a Nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Kerala in 2015. After gaining 1 year of experience in Nursing, I made a move to the UK in the year 2016. From then I started working as a caring staff in different Nursing/care homes. Later I joined Glebefields as a senior care staff on 7th July 2020. These 2 years of my journey at Glebefields are very motivating and I have developed myself in many prospective areas.

Hi, Esther Ndungu, I completed my hospitality degree from the college in Kenya in the year 2009. I then worked with kids battling cancer in Kenya as a program officer before coming to the UK in the year 2020. With the call by NHS for people with transferrable skills to join the health care sector, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, I joined Regal care ltd as caring staff. I enrolled myself in health care training and later joined Glebefields health Care as a senior carer. I love sharing the care with the people especially the venerable, improving their quality of life through care.

Hi, I’m Snobia, I am a care assistant here at Glebefields. I have joined in April 2016 I really enjoy my role, providing care for our residents with dignity and respect. I love getting to know our residents, their families, their background and their likes and dislikes. I am always happy to help out in other departments, I am a bank activities assistant and bank domestic assistant. I am passionate about making our home a happy and safe environment for our residents.

Hi, My name is Shyama Shakuntala Nair, Currently, I am working with Glebefields as a Care Staff and Activity Assistant. In Sep 2021 I came to the UK, pursuing my higher studies in MSc Project Management from Salford University, Manchester. Earlier this I worked in an Investment Banking Sector as an Assistant Manager handling 21 resources under me. I do carry 7 years of experience with me in the Banking Sector and in the last 2 years, I was managing resources to perform their work effectively and efficiently.
I am very hardworking, learn and understand things quickly and get adapted to any situation.

I am very friendly and I love to meet new people. This would be the reason, I am here at Glebefields meeting new people and getting to know them. I joined Glebefields on 29th March 2021. In these 3 months, I have learnt so many things about caring and also how to keep our people happy. I am proud to say that I am a part of this wonderful team and I love working at Glebefields Care Home, Banbury.

Hello, my name is Bose and I'm the head Chef here at Glebefields care home.

My name is Cristina, and I am working as a senior care assistant at Glebefields Care Home. I'm coming from Romania, and my main qualification in my country is a master's degree in geography. I came to the UK in 2017, and I joined Barchester company in Chipping Norton. In 2019 I completed NVQ 2 and in 2021 I completed the NVQ3 Diploma in Adult Care.

In January 2022 I joined the Glebefields team, and since then, I enjoyed coming to work, in a positive environment. Using my knowledge and experience, besides my colleagues, we offer residents and visitors a great experience. I am happy when the residents are happy, and I feel good when I can make a difference in someone's day.
