At Oaken Holt we take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care and facilities and we regularly run recruitment campaigns to build our care team thus ensuring they are able to provide person-centred care, spend valuable time with our residents and we are delighted that you comment ‘it’s like a big happy family’ as this is what we strive for. We are undergoing a substantial investment and refurbishment programme and again we are glad you have noted this has enhanced the environment in our home.

Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate your feedback. At Oaken Holt we take great pride in ensuring we deliver high quality care and facilities and we are very pleased that you have a positive impression of our team and the high quality care they provide.
As you are aware, Oaken Holt is an older building which retains a myriad of period features – from stained glass and leaded windows, to parquet flooring, original fireplaces and rooms with fine high ceilings. Oaken Holt is benefitting from a substantial investment and refurbishment programme to redecorate and refresh many areas of the home including several bedrooms to ensure that our high standards of service can be fully maintained. We are striving to minimise any disruption to our residents at our home.

“Oaken Holt is a wonderful home-from-home with a fascinating history and a wide range of activities and facilities. There is an energetic and compassionate team working with me to deliver the highest standards of care.
We are really fortunate to have such extensive and beautiful grounds, and it is well-documented what a positive impact being outdoors can have on everyone’s mental well-being, so I will be working with my colleagues and our residents to make sure we are making the most of those opportunities.
Every person in our community has a story to tell and our role is to help those stories be told, shared, and understood. We put the individual at the heart of everything we do, celebrating their stories, and helping them write new chapters.”
Job Title: Community Relations Manager
I work closely with families and their loved ones to support them through the transition to residential care, building lasting relationships and providing peace of mind during what can be a difficult and emotional time. My role is to ensure they make fully informed decisions, using the knowledge and experience I have gained over 16 years in this role.
