Situated on the banks of the River Abbey, Abbey Chase Nursing Home is a 20th-century country-house setting that offers residential and nursing care. A true nature-lover's paradise, Abbey Chase is located within a quiet country retreat and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens. It's also characterised by original features, including an evergreen oak tree, octagonal carp pond, walled garden, orchard and a peaceful riverside walk. Situated close to Chertsey Town, Abbey Chase is easily accessible by the M25 and mainline station at Weybridge.

Abbey Chase offers first-class accommodation with modern facilities, and is registered for 62 beds. The inviting, centrally heated single and shared rooms have scenic views of the grounds and surrounding countryside, with some rooms featuring en-suite bathroom facilities. Care is always provided with dignity and individuality in mind. At Abbey Chase, focus is primarily placed on residential and nursing care, with a secondary focus on respite, dementia, and palliative & end-of-life care.

The nurses and care staff at Abbey Chase have the necessary nursing qualifications and caring experience, which enable them to ensure residents are happy and comfortable in their retirement. The highest standards of personal dignity are maintained at all times, and the personal care they offer is always approached with sensitivity to physical and emotional needs in mind. Health professionals including a doctor, dentist and physiotherapist make regular visits to the home. Residents can also book appointments with opticians, audiologists and chiropodists whenever needed.

Upon using the outdoor space, residents can expect to find an abundance of wildlife - including kingfishers, grebes and Mandarin geese. Hairdressers also make regular visits to the home, and for those who like to explore the amenities within the local community, transport can easily be arranged.

The manager is excellent, her approach and kindness is outstanding. The home is clean and does not smell like many homes do. Excellent staff who go the extra mile to make sure residents are safe and happy. They are kind and efficient. Thank you all at Abbey Chase, you made life for us all so much easier.

My husband was admitted for respite after a stroke. What an amazing care home, wonderful, caring, kind and respectful staff. Two members of staff go way above anything you could hope for, always ready to chat/information etc. Make you feel very comfortable that your loved one is getting top-quality
care and attention from all areas of the care home. Very impressed and well-managed home.

My father was admitted to Abbey Chase as part of a step-down process from the hospital. From day one the care and consideration given to my father has been excellent. I would highly recommend management of this home is open and transparent. Communication is excellent. I can find no faults.

The Abbey Chase Nursing Home has the resident at the centre of its care. The residents are provided with tasty and nutritious meals. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy. Residents are looked after extremely well and the carers are kind and caring. Visitors are welcomed with warm smiles and can come

Our dad was discharged from the hospital on September 23rd and placed on a block bed contract at Abbey Chase Nursing Home while we searched for an alternative accommodation for him. Although Abbey Chase is in need of modernisation, it is well managed by the manager who sets an excellent example of welcoming
kindness. We had a positive interaction with all staff providers who were attentive to our dad's needs and eager to please. The staffing levels are good and the staff are knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely interested in the residents. We left the facility feeling confident that our dad was in safe hands.

I visited several care homes over a period of a few weeks. The staff (on every level) is super interactive, friendly, helpful and sensitive to family needs!
The home is warm, clean and company if you want it. Bedrooms are a nice size and homely with TV. The food also looks good and has plenty of variety.
Definitely recommend this home!

Brilliant. My dad came in December and he’s happy. They take into consideration his needs and are very welcoming to his family when they visit. The home is safe and clean and has a great management team, he hasn’t been there long but made my dad feel at ease.

The care my mum receives from all the staff is absolutely amazing. They treat her so well. I feel completely at ease with my mum in this home. I can phone if I need to know anything or if I am worried about anything. She is very happy here. The staff and management are so incredibly friendly and caring.
They put on super activities for the residents to join in. I would recommend this home to anyone, it is just the best. The staff are all heroes!

I moved here at the end of July 2023 as aftercare from hospital, after a few weeks of settling in, whilst we established how much 'hands-on' care I needed, we established a routine. Whilst I strive to maintain as much independence as possible, I accept that there are things I need help with and this
is always readily available. I have always been made to feel most welcome and the staff are all very friendly. I moved rooms when a more suitable room became available to help with my mobility which is an example of how accommodating Abbey Chase Nursing Home are when they can.

It’s always scary when a loved one goes into a care home, even on a temporary/respite basis like my father. From day one, the staff at Abbey Chase ensured that my family and I knew that my dad was safe, comfortable and well looked after. The managers are excellent at keeping things running smoothly,
from ordering medications to arranging transport for hospital appointments. The nurses and carers are all so kind, patient and compassionate, and keep us fully informed on my dad’s condition. Every single member of staff I have met over the past two months has been lovely, and many of them go so far above and beyond to make patients and their families comfortable. I’m so grateful that my father ended up at Abbey Chase, and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who will listen!

My mum was sent to Abbey Chase Nursing Home from hospital as she was incapable of caring for herself back in her independent care home.
Management and staff were superb throughout her six-week stay. They provided for her vegetarian diet and were always on hand to give her support and empathy when required.
The nursing team were professional and the hands-on carers were a delight. Management should be very proud of their team!

Very friendly staff, always happy to help! The home was very relaxed with a nice atmosphere and lovely grounds to walk around. The carers/staff were always available to chat and had a good sense of humour.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was kept clean. Mum was comfortable and checked on regularly. The nursing staff were very attentive and the nursing manager a delight to deal with.

My mum came to the home from the palliative care ward of a hospital. Although she was only at the home for 6 weeks until she passed away, we have nothing but praise for the dignity and kindness shown to my mum and her family by all the staff. In particular the nurses and the home manager.

Mum was sent to Abbey Chase after a series of falls and hospital stays. The staff were welcoming and were fun and friendly. Mum was encouraged to join in with other residents but not pressured if she didn't feel like it. She enjoyed the food and overall had a lovely time.
