We are sorry for your experience and were required to seek advice from partner agencies. Following your father's passing, our CEO met with you to understand your concerns. As part of our commitment to a just learning culture, we instigated a mock inspection by an independent consultant. The report rated the service as 'Good' in all areas but also identified some areas for development. We have initiated a learning review that will guide revisions of our policies and procedures. We are proud of our stable and dedicated nursing team, and we remain committed to ensuring they receive the support, training, and leadership required to deliver a high standard of care. We encourage everyone to read our other reviews to get a fuller picture of the positive impact we've had on so many families. We're here to listen, learn and improve.

We're actually known for our exceptional attention to detail and person-centred care, and we're sorry that we haven't met your expectations in this instance. Follow up - 11.09.2024. Thank you very much for meeting with us today where we explained that the dishwashers in the dining rooms are commercial and can be cleaned in a matter of minutes, that managers are on call out of hours, and that staff nurses are given the authority to act on a managers behalf, if not available, that people living with dementia have differing needs and activities are available for all, both as a group and as a 1:1. We appreciated meeting with you to talk through your review, and as discussed continually strive for excellence at Belvedere House.

Joined: 2017
Alice Mitroi is the Registered Home Manager, having joined as a staff nurse in 2017.
She graduated from the University of Bucharest in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Health and Social Care to accompany her baccalaureate in General Nursing. She has worked in the care industry since the age of 19 and has worked her way up to hold a managerial position.
Alongside these qualifications, she has a diploma in dementia care and brings this experience and knowledge to the care of residents in the dedicated dementia wing.
