Cedar Court is a purpose-built care home for the elderly offering residential, nursing and dementia care over three separate floors. All floors has its own dining room, activities area and lounge.

The “home from home” feel at Cedar Court is created by the dedicated staff who have been selected not only for their professional ability but also for their commitment to truly making a difference for the people in their care.

Resident’s rooms are spacious and feature en-suite facilities. The communal areas are at the centre of what makes Cedar Court a real community whether it be at meal times or when enjoying activities. There are no fixed visiting hours so friends and family can come and see residents at any time.

Activities and day trips are an integral part of the resident’s well being. The activities coordinator encourages and helps residents continue with existing interests and also introduces new hobbies. The minibus is used frequently to take residents on day trips near and a little further from the home.

The dining experience at Cedar Court boasts fine home cooking by a professional chef who has created a menu to reflect the interests and tastes of the discerning residents.

Respite care at Cedar Court is very popular and enables those wishing to experience what the Home has to offer before making a full commitment.

Having been a resident 6 months ago for respite care we approached Cedar Court to provide more permanent care following a swift deterioration in my Mother's health. The management team acted quickly and positively to provide an assessment of my home and then provide suitable accommodation and care that
same afternoon. The nursing and care staff have been exemplary, showing kindness, and consideration and are always swift to respond to my Mum's needs. The management and admin staff have been brilliant in their assessment and reassessment of Mum's needs, moving her to the appropriate room as it became available. We are always grateful with a smile. My experience so far is very good.

My father has been in residence since January 2024 and he has settled in well and joins in with some of the activities. The care given and staff members are all lovely and say 'hello' when you pass them. There is a good feeling around the home and he enjoys the food. They are pleasant to deal with on
any queries we might have.

My dad arrived at Cedar Court Care Home after a long hospital stay. Immediately, he was welcomed and cared for. My mother and I both felt confident he was in good hands. Over the last few weeks nothing has been too much trouble for the staff. They are always one step ahead with any queries we may have.
Dad is happy and relaxed. As a family, we are so pleased we chose Cedar Court for dad's final few months. Thank you to all staff.

Cedar Court gave my Mother the perfect, peaceful, and beautiful location for her last day on earth. The formalities of receiving her from the hospital were smooth despite the weekend admittance. The staff treated us as if we were royalty. The sun shone through the open French windows and the family
was able to relax after a harrowing week in the hospital.
Mummy held my father's hand all day sitting next to him on the sofa as she passed gracefully in my arms that night.

My Dad has just passed having spent 8 months at Cedar Court, Cranleigh. He had Dementia and eventually died from that condition. The care he received from the Staff at Cedar Court was kind, patient, and carried out with smiles.
There felt like a genuine affection for my Dad and the other fellow sufferers,
by the Staff.
I can’t name the individual, but one person, in particular, was very kind to my Dad during his stay and kind to me at the end and throughout; I can only thank her from the bottom of my heart.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my husband received at Cedar Court during the last year of his life. I cannot praise the service supplied by the team at Cedar Court enough. This was an unexpected stay with me calling at 9 am on a Monday morning enquiring about spaces. The whole team moved swiftly to admit Mum the same day. She started with nursing care before transferring to residential. All the staff,
whether front of house, admin, nursing, care or cleaning always smiled and were super helpful. Thank you all.

I stayed at Cedar Court Care Home after being a patient in hospital for two months where I had lost two stone, immobile and quite depressed.
I received a very warm welcome from the management and staff who had even hung a canvas of my grandchildren on the wall to make me feel at home! My recovery
started immediately.
My care was superb during my six-week stay! All the staff were extremely kind and supportive. At first, I needed quite a lot of nursing care but I was always treated with respect and dignity. I soon gained the confidence to become more mobile and independent again whilst being encouraged and supported by the staff.
My relatives and friends were made to feel very welcomed whilst visiting. We were able to sit in the reception area or in the garden which was very relaxing, having been confined to a hospital room! Needless to say, I soon began to gain weight by eating home-cooked meals three times a day and snacks and drinks were provided throughout the day. Very grateful. Great place!

My stay at Cedar Court Care Home was a new experience which proved to be enjoyable and fun with kind and helpful staff, great activities, lovely outdoor space for walking and getting fresh air in a garden with colourful plants to brighten one's day. The food was varied and could be ordered according
to one's choice and the delivery of hot drinks to my room was much appreciated. The staff were friendly, kind and remembered each person's name. The management team were lovely and supplied me with a TV and a Rotalla walking device. My stay was a positive experience.

The care my mother is receiving is exemplary. She is 93 years old and is suffering with dementia but she is very happy in Cedar Court Care Home. She is well cared for, the food is good and her room well cleaned. Special recommendations please to one nurse, entertainments officer and the receptionist.

"Transformation"
When Mum first arrived at Cedar Court Care Home, she could hardly walk, struggled with using toilet facilities, rarely ate regularly and hardly spoke to anyone. Now, she can walk short distances unaided, talks to everyone and is putting on weight.

After struggling with my dad (91) living at home using 24-hour live-in care, plus external carers morning and night, we made the trepidatious decision to take him to a care home for a two-week trial. Thank goodness we did, it has changed everyone’s lives for the better. My mum (who is 89) and my siblings
and I were permanently anxious about Dad which was really impacting on our lives. Dad was very bored, as he was bed/chair bound and we couldn’t get him in a car for outings. Cedar Court Care Home in Cranleigh has changed all that, the staff are wonderful and so friendly. He is doing keep-fit, carpet bowls, quizzes and news catch-ups. He has found some new friends and has proved himself very popular with the lovely staff. As a family, we are delighted with how things have turned out and would highly recommend anyone considering a care home to try the two week trial. Needless to say, Dad is still there!
