Collingwood Grange has been converted to offer a variety of individualised care options for both long-term and short-stay care in nursing, residential and dementia as well as palliative, convalescence and Parkinson's care.

Situated in the picturesque area of Camberley, built in the 1900s, the home benefits from being set within three acres of land, giving residents a great outdoor living space that they can enjoy with residents alike, friends and family. There are ample seating areas so that the natural surroundings can be taken in at leisure.

Collingwood has several living rooms and dining areas, as well as a number of dedicated quiet areas. Each decorated to a high standard and often providing some great homely features that give this home a really quaint and relaxed feeling. These rooms also offer the opportunity to have family and friends over for special occasions or any day that the resident wants. All bedrooms provide en-suite facilities and a 24-hour call system.

This home has a beautiful light and airy dining room where fresh and seasonal dishes are served, with any personal tastes or dietary requirements accounted for and recorded in the care plans. If residents prefer to eat within their rooms this is also respected and will be arranged with staff.

The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests.

My relative was cared for for 15 months. He was suffering from increasing dementia but was always cheerful and praising the care and attention given by the staff. We visited twice a month and were always impressed with the staff on duty. Nothing was too much trouble. If there were any issues they were
immediately sorted quickly and calmly. We were responsible for our relative under a court of protection order and the home always rang us with any ongoing medical issues. They kept us fully informed at all times. We had experiences of 7 other care homes and I firmly believe Collingwood Grange was by far the best.

I have been very satisfied. The very caring staff in attendance at all times, especially as some patients can be a little trying when suffering loss of memory and Alzheimers disease. In my opinion I thought the top floor was well managed. I did sometimes think that the food was rather bland. My mother
was offered sufficient liquid I am sure. The staff showed great patience always. However I did think that the fees were too high for a 'not for profit organisation', so I was told at the beginning of her stay.

On my first experience of a 1 week stay in the Collingwood Care Home I must admit, I was a little apprehensive - but I must say how very welcoming and happy week I had, everyone was so kind, considerate and very helpful. Nothing was too much bother, I have been invited to 'pop' in any time for a "cuppa"!!

I entered Collingwood Grange at a very 'low ebb' without being aware of why or how, I soon felt so safe and secure in the knowledge that I had but to call if I was nervous or unsure of myself.
The staff are al so efficient and so very pleasant. The home is tranquil, bright, immaculately clean and a
very good kitchen; the refreshments throughout the day are a joy.
Collingwood Grange is an absolute credit to its staff and administrators.

My husband came for respite for 11 nights while I had a break. He was very happy and extremely well looked after. Although he is only 63 needs 24/7 care. Family came to visit and all commented on his personal cleanliness and room. Thank you we will use you again.
