Hacing no experince of a care home. I have found that my husband is looked after extremely well and the nursing care is outstanding. I am very happy with the care my husband is receiving. He is always clean and tidy and well dressed. The meals are well cooked, especially for a person with dementia.
The staff are very pleasant and will ensure any questions I have regarding my husband.

Both manager and deputy manager provided practical help and support when we we looking to find a new home for mum. There has been good continuity of carers, and excellent activities and entertainment which mum enjoys. Personal care is always good and staff are always welcoming to us as family and friends
visiting. I'm confident that medication is always up to date and mum's supported to be confident taking medication. I feel that staff know mum well and that she gets on well with them and likes them.

Dad's time at Downsvale was approximately 10 weeks. In that time we were amazed at how the staff helped him to adjust and how quickly they assessed his personality and the level of care he required. Every member of staff was incredible with the love care and respect they showed to dad and us as relatives.
Dad passed away peacefully with dignity and respect thanks to the wonderful care he received from the brilliant team at Downsvale. Thank you all so much.

Managment and staff have been friendly, caring and supportive to mum and I. Her care has been targeted to meet her needs and I have been given regular updates when I visit and when I phone and I have been notified of any health issues arising. She seems settled and happy and enjoys lots of activities.

I have been visiting my friend at Dowensvale Nursing Home for about 14 years. I have viewed many positive changes since the current Director/Manager took over the home. The building has been decorated, and a decking built outside for warmer days. The building is secure and there are a variety of activities
for residents. Staff are friendly and welcoming and treat resident with care had respect. During the time that my friend was considered to be 'end of life' the staff were so considerate and kind which helped to alleviate some of the difficulties around their time - especially the Deputy Manager.

Deepa is a qualified Health Psychologist (Univ of Surrey) and is the Registered Manager at Downsvale Nursing Home since 2018. She deals will operational aspects of the business including the resident’s person-centred care, staff management and development and day-to-day running of the Nursing home.
