Holly Lodge is a dementia care home, offering tranquillity, luxury living and security for up to 60 residents living with dementia.

Winner of ‘Nursing Home of the Year’ at the Surrey Care Awards 2022 and featured in Knight Frank’s Luxury Care Home Guide for three years running; 2021, 2022 and 2023. It was described as ‘Heartwarming’ by Caring UK Award Judges and praised for their daily goal of making residents and relatives smile and putting the needs of people with dementia at the heart of the home.

Innovatively designed to enhance multi-sensory stimulation and encourage reminiscence, Holly Lodge accommodates people living with different types of dementia at every stage of their journey, offering both residential dementia care and nursing dementia care on a permanent and respite basis.

There are spacious, bright and homely communal areas for entertaining and dining, a dedicated activities room, on-site hair salon, pub, gallery, family room, cinema, and alcove lounges for residents and their loved ones to enjoy. Landscaped gardens provide outdoor spaces for relaxation, complete with a sensory garden.

Compassionate and experienced staff are trained in specialist dementia care, complementary therapies and on-site dedicated dementia care nurses 24-hours a day.

This ensures every resident is happy, secure, and fulfilled in their day-to-day life. The activities team prioritise resident wellbeing by organising a variety of meaningful and joyful group, individual and one-to-one activities and experiences. Activities are multi-sensory, designed to alleviate dementia symptoms; helping to improve concentration and communication, encouraging reminiscence and social interaction.

We're pleased with the care and attention our Mum has received. The staff are attentive, aware of her needs and respond to Mum in a kind and caring way with dignity and respect. Even if the staff are busy with other residents, they keep any eye out for anything else that is happening and respond quickly
and appropriately. The home is always spotlessly clean and tidy with a lovely atmosphere. We've been kept fully informed and updated about Mum and included in conversations with the doctor, outcomes of any other discussions and ongoing follow-ups about how she is progressing and what we can do to help. The Activities Team are well led, full of energy, good fun and provide such a variety of activities to suit everyone. The array of outside entertainers and visitors provided is second to none and it's good to see that they are inclusive of all residents. Holly Lodge is well led and managed and provides a safe and caring environment. We couldn't have chosen a better home for our Mum.

My wife very recently passed away at Holly Lodge. She had lived there for almost 16 months and in that time I was able to visit my wife around 900 times. I can honestly say that throughout my visits all the staff at Holly Lodge and especially the manager.
have greeted me with nothing but support and
kindness. But that same kindness has been amplified even greater in the care of my wife. Her smiling at them right through to her final days gave us the reassurance that we had chosen wisely.
Our very deep and heart felt thanks go out to everyone at Holly Lodge from our household.

Holly Lodge is an excellent care home for those who suffer from dementia. The care that my mum has received since she arrived in October has been amazing and she is thriving there.
The day to day care is fantastic and the activities team are superb and have reignited my mums love for art and creativity.
Holly Lodge is very clean and the carers are so kind, thoughtful and always around to help in any eventuality. My mum is declining with her dementia and they have been so attentive to her and I know that she is being cared for.
I only wish I had found it earlier as it's as home from home as it can be for my mum, thank you.

The care that Mum receives at Holly Lodge is absolutely excellent. The care home is spotless and very well run. There are always lots of carers on duty and everyone is very friendly: the manager, nurses, care assistants, receptionists and chef. All are visible and highly approachable. Visitors are made
to feel very welcome and are able to participate in the activities with the residents. Mum's dementia needs are now quite severe but I am completely reassured that she is getting the support and care that she needs. I feel very lucky that we have found Holly Lodge and would highly recommend it.

Holly Lodge is an excellent dementia care home, it's spotlessly clean the staff are really caring they all do a fantastic job, activities team are brilliant. My mother has only been here for 5 weeks and after a bad experience in another care home. I'm so grateful to Holly Lodge for putting my mind at

Amazing!
I’m so happy that this wonderful caring loving home is beyond what I expected.
With bad experiences in past with respite elsewhere I really never expected to feel so comfortable with my relative away from me.

My brother and I are extremely happy with the care that our Mum has received at Holly Lodge since she moved in. All the staff make you feel welcome, whether they be management, admin, catering or laundry staff, nurses or carers and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have been particularly touched
by the way staff have tried to accommodate our Mum's cultural needs by asking about her food and music preferences. Not just asking but taking action such as playing her favourite music on the large tablet in the lounge area. I think it shows the high calibre of the home when things don't go smoothly. I have seen this by the way that staff have kept us fully informed about Mum when she has not been well, what the plan is eg discuss with in-house GP and the outcome of any discussion, with ongoing follow up about how she is progressing and what if anything we can do to help. It is a true partnership. We were so worried about how Mum would adjust but are totally reassured. Highly recommended.

The care my wife receives is first class.
The staff be they carers or admin are so kind and helpful and are always ready to answer any queries or provide any information I might request.
They always pull out the stops for special occasions, especially for my wife's birthday. It is a pity that my wife

Holly Lodge is amazing, my mum has been a resident for four years and the care that she is given is outstanding.
The staff do such a brilliant job and are all so friendly. I am always kept informed with any updates to my Mums condition/medication etc.

Holly Lodge provides an excellent standard of care for my dad who was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia 11 months ago. My dad has settled in very well thanks to the homely/welcoming atmosphere and the amazing staff who go above and beyond to ensure my dad's needs are met every day.

As always, Holly Lodge do a brilliant job looking after dad. I cannot fault them. The extra fuss made on him for his 93rd birthday was perfect. He is so well looked after it takes the strain and worry form me and other family members. The staff are wonderful, and nothing is too much for them to make

Holly Lodge is excellent. They have cared for our mother with dementia for 3.5 years - not an easy job but they have cared for her with dignity and compassion. Holly Lodge is comfortable, clean with good food and lovely gardens. It is a lovely place to visit. The staff are always very friendly when
we visit and know who we are. They operate as a team and if we need anything they are very approachable and keep us informed as to anything we need to know. Management is excellent and very approachable.
