My mother has been at Leighton House for 3 years now and has received nothing but excellent care. The carers go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. Full marks for care, food, clean rooms and laundry service.
It feels like a family home not clinical at all.

My mother has been at Leighton House for nearly a year. She has been very well cared for and is happy. She enjoys interacting with the marvellous staff and takes part in some of the activities. The food is plentiful and home cooked.
We are very satisfied with all aspects of her care.

The staff are very friendly and are very patient with my mother, who can be quite challenging.

Management and staff must be congratulated on all their hard work in organising and managing the summer party and Christmas lunch for both residents and friends.
Since Christmas, there has been a frequent breakdown of the lift which has put added pressure on both staff and management. The recent installation
of a stair lift to alleviate the problem was most welcome.

My husband passed away on Jan 3rd 2019. He received the best care during his last month and remained calm, reassured and pain-free. He was frequently visited in his room by many staff members who spoke to him and let him know he was not alone. I was in the hospital during this time and unable to do
my daily visits. I had complete confidence in the staff at Leighton House Private Nursing Home to care for him in the best way.

My father passed away at Leighton House Nursing Home on 30.09.18. He lived here for one year, during this time he was treated with great care, kindness, respect, dignity and compassion. He became friendly with the lovely staff. It was a pleasure to visit him here and it was a relief to me to know that

Although my husband was not at Leighton House for long due to his poor health - he expressed how happy he was there.
Kind, caring staff.
Unfortunately, he was bedridden and unable to enjoy all the facilities, but we were both very glad that we had chosen Leighton House.

Excellent effort and care are taken to keep our mother comfortable and clean.
She has been a resident for over 2 years.
She is fed nutritional and appropriate meals regularly.
In particular, two of the long-term care staff have been key in welcoming family, keeping us updated.
They are cheerful
and reliable in our mother's care.
It is really important to have continuity of care.

Always welcoming, friendly, helpful staff including ancillary staff. A very clean, pleasant environment, always ready to include family with the care, and care plans of my husband.
The care staff have always been very caring and showing consideration and love to my husband and indeed myself.
Nice
garden and outdoor space, well looked after. The meals were well prepared to suit my husband's needs i.e., in the later stages of his life eg., pureed.

Leighton House has a lovely feel to it whenever I visit.
The staff are all friendly and my Granny seems to love them and seems very happy here.
Today we are visiting for the summer party and it's a great event with so much thought put into it.

The team have a high level of care for my father given his level of dementia and complex needs.
I feel reassured that his welfare is at the foremost of the service provided.
He has recently started to fall over and I have been contacted immediately and informed, in particular when it was decided he
needed to go to the local A&E.
One incident when he fell when I was present I witnessed first hand how they dealt with the situation and ensured he had the right level of support after becoming disorientated.

I am only able to see my dad for two weeks of the year as I live in the U.S. However when I come, my dad is always happy and obviously well looked after. There are always plenty of carers around who are happy to help you (the visitor) and care for you and your relative. The facility is clean and has
plenty of things to do for the residents. The environment is peaceful and all the residents are happy here. The staff cater to the physical, mental and the resident's interests with care and attention.

My role as Group Deputy Manager entails supporting senior management in implementing the efficient day-to-day operations of Leighton House and this extends to the various companies within the Aims Care Group. I also develop and nurture the roles and competencies of our staff, ensuring the team is highly trained in accordance with current CQC guidelines.


I oversee and contribute to the assessment and admissions of prospective service users as well as face-to-face tours of our homes.
