My father was a resident at Leighton House from November 2015-April 2016.
He had Alzheimer's and was far from an easy resident at times. But, they handled him with respect and dignity. Always being sensitive to his and other residents needs. On his last day, staffing members to whom my father closely
related with, stayed around to bring him comfort, which, for me and my sister was a real dedication of care.
The meals were always of good quality, hygiene and safety standards upheld.
The home has a beautiful light conservatory/sitting area over looking the garden.
It always looked clean and residents are well cared for and attended to. They had people coming in to provide activities on different days and there were plenty resources to keep residents entertained.
The staff were always polite, approachable, welcoming and supportive.

My first impression was that the manager was kind, gentle, positive and organised. It was apparent that Leighton House was clean, no smells whatsoever and the residents were receiving excellent care and attention.


My husband was an extremely difficult resident but he was always treated with great

care and great respect. The staff were brilliant at overcoming his difficulties or the difficulties he created.


He had an excellent appetite all his life. Leighton House accepted this and he had double the amount of other residents at meal times. When he asked he would be given snacks between meals and at night.


Without question, I was delighted with his care at all times.

Whilst my mother's stay at the facility was short, we were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of care undertaken by everyone, from the management to the individual staff in general. Mum was treated with dignity, kindness and consideration, and a carer was always on hand to hold her hand or share
a smile. It's difficult to find any fault with the care my mother received, plus the staff went the extra mile to make you feel welcome, even to visitors. I would wholeheartedly go on record to support this organisation. They helped us through such difficult times and made my mother's stay as gracious and as comfortable as possible. The care that was provided for my mum in her final hours with us was nothing short of exemplary. Thank you for being amazing at what you do!

My husband has been a resident at Leighton House since March 2016, It did take him a short while to settle but now he is quite happy. I find the staff extremely patient with him when he's giving them a difficult time. I find the manager and all the staff are very pleasant when I visit my husband. They
make me very welcome and are always ready to talk to you no matter what the situation. The manager and staff are a good team and for that, I recommend Leighton House as highly possible as a care home.

Leighton House Private Nursing Home has provided excellent care for my grandmother for the past 6 years. She is very happy here. The staff at Leighton House genuinely care for all the residents looking after their health, day to day care and personal well-being. The home itself is modern, light and
has been designed to a very high standard. Residents have access to a range of services including hairdressing, outside visitors and regular family inclusive events.

My husband Peter has been at Leighton House for 3 months. He appears to be quite happy. I'm just as happy for him to be there. I find the staff very helpful whenever I've approached them about anything. They are very pleasant and courteous, not just to the residents, but also the visitors. My journey
to Leighton House is 15 miles, and takes forty minutes, as I live in Twickenham. As long as my husband is happy, I'm willing to do the journey.

My mother was welcomed into Leighton House in April 2016. A difficult hand over was handled professionally and sympathetically. My mother has a large room with a hospital bed so that she won't have to be moved again when her condition worsens. She likes the food and eats extremely well. The large living
area is warm and interesting to be in. The garden is easily accessible and newly redesigned for the residents to safely access.

My role as Group Deputy Manager entails supporting senior management in implementing the efficient day-to-day operations of Leighton House and this extends to the various companies within the Aims Care Group. I also develop and nurture the roles and competencies of our staff, ensuring the team is highly trained in accordance with current CQC guidelines.


I oversee and contribute to the assessment and admissions of prospective service users as well as face-to-face tours of our homes.
