Our Weekly Fee is based on the choice of bedroom and the personal care needs required. Before admission, a professional team member will assess to understand the support and care your loved one requires within the home.
A personalised and tailored care plan will be created and monitored daily using our electronic care system. Included in Our Weekly Fee: Home staffed 24 hours a day Meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), unlimited snacks and drinks Accommodation with bed & and bedding, towels, bedroom furniture, chair, curtains, lighting and individually controlled heating Laundering of bedding, towels, and personal clothing (except dry cleaning) Unrestricted use of communal areas Cleaning and decoration of rooms Maintenance of grounds and gardens Wi-Fi access Range of in-house activities and external outings (excluding admission fees, if applicable) Care and daily assistance in line with assessment. Prices quoted are based on permanent residency, per person per week for single occupancy. Prices are subject to an individual care needs assessment and the type of room and services chosen.

Visiting times are flexible 7 days a week and visitors are encouraged to spend quality time with loved ones. All visitors must sign in and out of the home in the visitor's book in reception.
Ample on-site parking is available for convenience.

We are open for new residents on both a permanent and short-term basis. A range of bedroom types are available including ground floor rooms with patio doors opening onto the garden.

With nearly four decades in care, I began my journey as a carer and have since progressed through roles in home management, regional management, and quality direction. My experience also includes consulting for care homes, offering support in upholding high standards. Ultimately, I discovered my true passion lies in home management, and I’m thrilled to lead the team at Moorhouse Care Home. The Moorhouse care team is outstanding, wholly dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centred care. It’s a privilege to support our residents and lead such a committed staff each day.
Job Title: Maintenance Officer
I treat Moorhouse like it is my own home, I make sure everything throughout the home is in good order from the décor to the garden. I have been at Moorhouse for 24 years and feel part of a wonderful compassionate team who go above and beyond for our residents who have chosen Moorhouse as their home.
Job Title: Laundry Attendant
I have worked at Moorhouse for 24 years and could not think of a better place to work. I’ve had various roles within the home but now spend my time ensuring all the laundry is fresh and clean. I love talking and seeing the residents every day – I like to put a smile on their faces and make them laugh. The home has a great atmosphere, we are one happy family.
