Mum is looked after and cared for in a very caring and loving atmosphere. Sunrise is a lively and stimulating environment and residents are given the opportunity to enjoy many activities. My sister and I always feel we are treated like friends by the staff and supported ourselves. Thank you!

Staff are excellent. In the three years, mum has never been in her room always with other residents. Lots of mental stimulation.
I think the food (meat could be minced up not pureed) for some residents.

The care that my mother-in-law has received at Sunrise Virginia Water has been excellent. It is so different from what I imagined it would be. The staff are friendly, caring and professional, it is a lovely place to be. It oozes warmth and care as soon as you walk through the door. My mother-in-law
has spent a time in there after surgery for respite care and now wishes she was back again at Sunrise and talks fondly about her time there. The resident's rooms are cosy and warm and everyone is very friendly towards each other. I can only describe it as another family. The good is excellent, it's a great place to be and worth every penny.

After a spinal operation, my family felt that a month respite at Sunrise would be advisable.
I cannot fault the care and attention that the staff have shown to me in this month, and the progression I have made in my recuperation.
The standard has been akin to a 4/5 star hotel.
I would recommend
this care for anyone who would be unable to look after themselves.

Our dear dad was moved to Sunrise Virginia Water a few weeks ago, where his health and wellbeing has improved dramatically. It is the most friendly, efficiently run care home. It has offered him a chance to join it with art classes, days out, and numerous other activities. As his family, we are all
made to feel incredibly welcome, with everyone gracious, charming and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone .

I was looking for three improvements for my mums remaining life- security, social interaction and care both personal and medical. Since she has moved to the care home she has received all of the above in abundance. Her unhappiness has disappeared as she feels supported and included in the "home life".
An excellent result in a few weeks. Thank you.

My mother has lived here for nearly 3 years and I cannot imagine a better place for her. I visit 2-3 times a week and she is always well cared for and very clearly loved. The carers are very friendly and there are plenty of them, so the service is very good. I find the communication about health issues
excellent.

At Virginia Water, we have a lovely activities team and we run the Live with Purpose Programme. This covers a variety of Activities enriching the mind, body and soul. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing our residents smiling, laughing and having a good time.

I started my career at the iconic Waldorf Hotel in London which inspired my passion for hospitality.


Unsocial hours and the birth of my daughter made me rethink my career and hence the transition to care home catering for the past 15 years. I have never looked back. I really enjoy catering for all our residents’ dietary requirements. It’s a very rewarding job and a privilege to cook for them in their home. A birthday celebration never goes by without a personalised cake. My team also support special events in the home.

With over 20 years of experience in hotel management I was in search of a new challenge.
