I joined the company in 2020, having spent the five previous years locally in a different sector of care. I have strong connections within the community having lived here my entire life. My role for the company is a varied one, utilising all of my skills, but I have a passion for helping people. Signature is known as the best for quality of care and design, and in these areas as well as many others, they are always one step ahead of other care providers. I am absolutely delighted to be a part of the Signature at Weybridge family. I have had the privilege to work in care over the years visiting people's homes so I am familiar with the care sector. My main background and passion over the years has been in Sales and Business Development. I am really excited to develop my role here as a Client Liaison Manager to really push the Signature brand locally. I have always found care to be hugely rewarding making a difference to people’s lives. I joined the Weybridge team in 2008 and I have many years of experience in the care sector. At Signature, I have worked as a Care Assistant, progressing to a Senior Care Assistant, before moving into the Wellness Department supporting our Dementia community. In July 2018, I was promoted to become the Dementia Care Manager. In this role, I am responsible for all care staff, and the wellbeing of our residents. I find that I am most effective in supporting my team to deliver exceptional person-centred care for our residents. I aim to provide peace of mind to loved ones of residents who trust us. I’m very lucky to be part of an incredible team that are dedicated to continuously going above and beyond for our residents, ensuring their happiness and wellbeing is consistently met.

I have over 16 years of experience working in the healthcare industry with different care homes in various positions from Care Assistant to Duty Manager. I have a real passion for person-centred care, providing the best care and environment for our residents as if they were my own family. I have been with Signature now since 2008, having previously worked in hospitality for some years. I began as a Housekeeping Assistant and progressed to managing a team where I found administration and organisation was something I enjoyed. I took up my Administrative Manager post in 2022 and have so far enjoyed every moment of it. My aim is to provide a quality of service to the business, residents, their loved ones and my colleagues. I like to approach my colleagues and each and every resident with the same enthusiasm and warmth as I’d show to family and friends. When time allows, I enjoy to travel, sometimes to unusual places, either within the UK or further afield. I enjoy nature, walking, sewing and spending time with my loved ones.

For the majority of my working life, I worked in a corporate environment as a Customer Service Manager. In 2018, I had the opportunity to become a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coordinator which was a huge transition but one I have never regretted. Having an absolute passion for the role, my focus every day is to make the residents happy albeit with music, crafts, exercise, minibus trips and sometimes just daily contact having a chat and a coffee. I believe activities are such an important part of daily living in our community. I have a great team and we are all committed to ensuring that every resident makes the most of each day.
