Our Stepfather spent just over a year in Bay House. At all times he was treated with a lovely blend of dignity respect and kindness all with a dash of humour which is how he liked it. He was settled and happy and keen to join in any activity going and we were able to relax knowing he was being very
well cared for.
After a massive stroke and a spell in hospital, my stepfather returned to see out his last few days at Bay House where he was shown such tender loving care. We were supported too during what was a very traumatic time.
I can highly recommend Bay House Care.

Bay House staff were very caring, not only to the resident but also to the visitors. They were willing to provide drinks upon arrival and during long visits, they made sure that a meal was available. Nursing for my husband was very good and they made sure that they used the resident's name, asking for
permission to do a certain thing. I did not like the fact that everything took place in the main lounge. There was no quiet area or privacy other than in the rooms.

My wife received outstanding care during her time at Bay House Care Ltd. She was treated with dignity and respect at all times. Her family were always made to feel welcome at any time and communication was very good. I would highly recommend this home.

My mum received a very high standard of care in the two years that she was at Bay House. All her needs were met and the staff went above and beyond to ensure she was well cared for. Have used Bay House Care Ltd previously and my mother was happy to return. Residents, no matter what their problems, will and are treated with the same care and dignity. Staff are all very caring, kind, always have time to chat and put new residents at ease. Management are very easy to talk to. Different
themes and activities throughout the year and relatives are always welcome. Food is all home cooked and they have fresh vegetables. Every diet is catered for and even the fussiest are catered for.

My father deteriorated in health and was no longer able to remain in the care home he had been in for 3 years. There was an element of urgency that he was moved to a nursing home and it was New Year’s Eve. I was recommended Bay House and having visited at short notice was offered a room subject to appraisal.
The administrative manager visited his care home immediately, assessed his suitability and once accepted agreed to allow him access immediately. The staff treated him with dignity, sensitivity and great care through the whole procedure and although he felt vulnerable and unsettled they welcomed him with open arms. The first room allocated proved unsuitable after 3 days so they went out of their way to find a room that he settled in more quickly. The food was always varied and the staff ensured his medical needs were met. I would be happy to recommend Bay House to anyone who enquired and would like to thank them for their efforts.

Mum had a led an independent life of more than 97 years, so it was with great reluctance that she, my brother and I concluded that she could no longer cope or be cared for safely in her own home.
We, therefore, visited Bay House with some trepidation – but quickly came to the conclusion that it would
be an exceptional place in which to spend her final her days. It transpired that she quickly became weaker but at every stage, the very professional staff accommodated her and adjusted her routine in whatever way was necessary.
She was treated throughout with respect and dignity; her care was thoughtful and appropriate; she was treated with warmth and good humour; she was made to feel as though she had joined a new family, and we, as her real family, were also treated with respect, made to feel welcome at any time and kept well informed. Her stay was a relatively short one but enabled her to be comfortable, safe and peaceful in her last days.

Mum was looked after very well and settled nicely during her respite stay at Bay House care home. My mum has dementia and the staff were very caring, patient, friendly and professional. I felt content that her needs were met. The food was home cooked and the menu varied. Mum was only moved closet to
her home roots to enable me to visit more regularly as this was not possible with a distance of 300 miles between us.

I moved my mum from a home in Warwickshire where she was depressed into Bay House. I can't praise this home enough it's wonderful and mum is so much happier and eating again. The staff are lovely, caring people and go that extra mile, nothing is a problem. It's a fantastic home full of love and stimulation.
I have such peace of mind knowing that my mum is in such good care. Thank you, Bay House.

This care home is excellent. All the staff are very caring and give lots of attention to the residents both for their physical and mental needs. The rooms are pleasant and clean. The food is very good and help is given to the residents to make sure they are well fed. Also, its a very happy place with

Bay House turned an unpleasant experience in my Dad's life to a true home for him. The staff all treat him with such respect and dignity but look after his complex needs. He went from withdrawn and scared in hospital to smiles and sitting up playing cards. Warm and comfortable home away from home with
the attentive and well-trained staff, that are continually trained with best in practical advice from experts. A management team that wants to listen to the residents family that really care and not just play lip service!


From stepping in the door, the well-maintained home is clean and fresh smelling, flooding with light. Food is always fantastic and plenty of special family and residents events throughout the year. A hairdressing room within the home and an activities coordinator providing both one on one and group activities 5 days a week. A large dining room and warm and sunny sitting area and in summer a well-maintained garden area all combine to make a tiny part of this home.

My mother has been in Bay House almost two years. When she was first here it took time for her to settle. In this last year, my mum has been more coherent and has progressed well. My mother went to Bay House at the end of November. She was very ill in December and while more stable now, is in an overall poor state. We visit regularly and she is always clean, comfortable and settled within herself. I am pleased with the care, staff are kind, responsive and doing a good job. It

My husband spent his last four weeks in the care of those who work at Bay House Care. He received care, compassion, kindness and attention beyond anything I had expected. All the staff at Bay House gave my mum an exceptional level of care during mum's 8-month stay. It was a comfort to know that she was a being so well looked after. It is truly one big family and a home from home.
She always looked so cosy, clean and comfortable and this was so important to the family
as she could not communicate her feelings/wishes.
Everybody showed compassion and kindness to us all as a family, especially during mum's final few days. They are all heroes and I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

My father has been living at Bay House since September 2011. On Wednesday 5th October 2016 my father was at the end of his life. Bay House staff gave my father and myself constant support, nothing was too much trouble, they cared for me while I stayed beside my father and they cared for my father as
they would have had he been their father, from the moment my father entered Bay House until the day he passed. All the staff at Bay House could not have treated him any better. They are wonderful people.

Mum sadly had to give up her own home due to decreasing mobility. Although mums stay at Bay House Care was a short one, the staff did everything to help her settle into her new home during a time of a major adjustment in her life. All the staff were friendly, caring and professional. Nursing care was
excellent and they were able to promptly identify a change in her health status leading to transfer to hospital.
