We are taking steps to address the issues you raise, for example in the last six months recruitment of permanent care staff has increased and reliance on agency staff has halved, and we have also recruited new team members to our housekeeping team. Copper Beech has a varied activity programme and does its very best to cater for the wide range of our residents' abilities and interests.

I have been working for Bupa since February 2022. I started as a peripatetic manager and I am currently working as the registered home manager at Copper Beech.
I have been working in the care sector for the last 20 years. I was always passionate about caring for people especially elderly vulnerable adults who really need support. As a result, I started to work in the care sector. I worked as a team leader, deputy manager, home manager and regional support manager for various organisations.
I have managed nursing homes, dementia residential homes and learning disability homes during my career and also worked as a regional support manager overseeing three nursing homes before I joined Bupa.
I really enjoy making a difference in and improving our residents' quality of life.
Outside of work, I am married with children. My hobbies include music and travelling. I like to play the guitar in my own time, travel to new places and spend time with my family.
