Thank you for raising your concerns with us, we are very sorry that you and your daughter have not received the care that we expect at HC-One. I have spoken to the HM and both Home Manager and Area Director will be monitoring this, we would be more than happy to meet with you and the Home Manager will be in touch to arrange a meeting to discuss. I am happy to see that your daughter did recently attend the Home's BBQ but we need to make sure that she is able to access space outside her room.

Home Manager at Haven, Peacehaven
What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Daryl has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. He is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Daryl closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. He extends this caring approach to his Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
He also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Haven.
When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Daryl remarked:
“I enjoy seeing Residents with smiles on their faces and knowing they are truly happy. It’s wonderful to engage with them each day and it makes my job feel so special.”
In his spare time, Daryl enjoys travelling and exploring new places around the world.
