We work hard to ensure that we have a twice-daily schedule of varied activities for our residents to enjoy. We also talk to our residents and families regularly to ensure that they have input into the choice of activities. Hi David, thank you so much for your feedback. Our care and housekeeping staff love to chat to residents in their rooms while going about their daily routine and our activities team arranges regular well-being visits for residents who need/prefer to stay in their rooms. These can include hand massages, reading, playing card games, doing puzzles and chatting over a cup of tea. However, we are happy to arrange more room visits and can also support your aunt to make video calls to you between visits. The other thing we can offer is to set you up on our online portal. This portal provides access to your aunt’s day-to-day notes and information about her care including meals, daily routine and well-being activities. You can message us back and also upload photos. Please contact me about setting you up on the system and if you have any other suggestions as to how we could help your aunt.
