Located in a pleasant residential area of Eastbourne, Inglewood Nursing Home offers short- and long-term nursing and palliative care in charming, period-style accommodation with thoroughly modern facilities.

Within the home there is accommodation for up to 60 residents in bright, comfortable rooms set over two floors. Each room is equipped with a TV, nurse call system and an adjustable automatic bed. All rooms have large windows and attractive views over the picturesque garden, while some on the ground floor open out onto the secure courtyard.

Staff encourage all residents to personalise their room with favourite pictures, photographs, ornaments and small items of furniture, as this helps them to feel at home much more quickly.

There is lift access to the first floor and all areas are wheelchair accessible. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the home, which also has its own hair salon.

Nursing and care staff are on hand 24 hours a day, supported by dedicated chefs as well as activities, administration and housekeeping teams.

Staff really care about each one of the residents and aim to make them feel completely comfortable and at home, whatever the level of care required. Their relationship is central to how happy residents are at Inglewood, and staff work hard to build trusting relationships with both the resident and their family.


Visitors are welcome at any time and on-site parking is available.

The manager and staff at Inglewood Nursing Home were caring and thoughtful throughout the time my mother was a resident. When she was ill they responded promptly and kept me updated.
They have a good programme of activities which my mother enjoyed. Our dog was able to visit which really pleased my
mother.

My uncle was transferred from the hospital to Inglewood Nursing Home under palliative nursing. He was made very comfortable and provided with excellent care, including medical care by the professional team of staff. The communication from the nursing home to the family was outstanding, especially the
relative's information service. My family felt very reassured and confident my uncle was in excellent hands and being cared for to the highest possible standard with dignity. I would highly recommend Inglewood Nursing Home to anybody when the time becomes necessary for a relative to go into care. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and exceptional management team at Inglewood.

I can not tell you how pleased I was with everything they did for my mum. The care and attention were outstanding from day one. Great people all the way through the home. Every time I left Mum, I felt confident that she was being looked after.

Excellent care and exceptional management. The staff are wonderful - friendly and approachable. Inglewood handled the Covid situation very well and maintained contact with Mum where appropriate. The staff have made a difficult time so much easier to cope with.

Excellent care and staff, who are all very friendly. My sister has said she is very happy with where she is and the care and respect the staff afford her. The home has managed the recent Covid-19 outbreak exceedingly well and has kept me informed at all times.

I would like to commend all of the staff at Inglewood Nursing Home. Everyone is kind, caring and concerned for my mother’s well being. Each member of the staff calls her by name, holds her hand and spends time talking to her when she’s awake as well as when she’s having a rough day. I live in America
and it’s so very difficult not being able to be there with her every day but I know she is being loved and cared for. I can check on her several times a day through the web-based care notes and speak to her several times a week by phone calls. Inglewood Nursing Home is truly the best care home available.

The staff are all very friendly and efficient and my mum is always very clean and presentable. She is on the end of life care but the staff still speak to her as they would to any other resident. Her room is always clean and tidy as are all the common rooms. An excellent and caring and well run home.

From the moment I walked into the home, from the receptionist, management and all the other staff, nurses, care workers that I met all made me feel very at home and part of a big family! it was lovely! I can't comment on value because my wife had a funded place. But I was made very welcome by everyone
from the day she went into the home until she passed away on 5/11/21. Thank you. They have all asked me to keep in contact which is lovely.

The staff at Inglewood have always been polite and provide the very best of care to my mother who suffers from advanced dementia and has been a resident for over a year.
The home is kept scrupulously clean and is well maintained. The managers and admin staff always keep me updated on events and also
if there are any procedures that I need to be aware of. This was particularly helpful during the worst of the pandemic.
I would thoroughly recommend the home to anyone considering this option for an elderly relative.
If I have one criticism, it would be that so called extras such as pads should be included in the monthly bill and not charged separately.

We have found Inglewood to be very helpful and flexible with family visitors. They take great care and ensure that every visitor is tested for COVID-19. The rooms are very pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff seem very capable of doing a very necessary and tough job.

From the day my husband was admitted to Inglewood Nursing Home I visited him every day along with my son and other family members. We always found the staff kind, helpful and above all very caring. At such a very sad time in our lives, we could not have asked for any better help and support. At every
step of our sad journey, the staff from reception, nurses, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and management have all been friendly and helpful so much so that I now feel we have made such lovely friends. We thank you all.

My father spent the last 6 months of his life at Inglewood. During the time he was at Inglewood he was always treated with dignity, immense kindness and respect. Whenever I visited, which was limited due to Covid, everyone had a smile and made me feel welcome. When I visited him on his birthday last
September three lovely nurses came in with a birthday card, a present and a cake and sang Happy Birthday to him, it's little kindnesses like this that mean so much. He sadly passed away two weeks ago and we will always be truly grateful for the loving care and kindness that was given to him and to us, his family, throughout his stay, especially in his final days. Thank you all so much, we are so grateful that we found you.

My dad came to Inglewood for end of life care and the staff were so incredibly kind, caring and loving to my father. They laughed with him, made him feel at home and when the time came, they treated him with enormous dignity and love in his last days. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Dad at Inglewood,
