Coppice Court Care Home, situated just outside the popular seaside resort of Eastbourne, offers personalised nursing and nursing dementia care.

Having recently undergone a refurbishment programme which transformed communal areas including dining rooms, lounges/day rooms, the activities room, reception area, hair salon, bathrooms and corridors, Coppice Court provides contemporary but cosy living spaces. Each area was thoughtfully designed to enhance the daily life of every resident and support the mind, body and soul. The pretty landscaped garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family.

Recognising the nutritional needs of older people, the catering team at Coppice Court designed varied and delicious menus to offer residents a dining experience that they can look forward to. Meals can be enjoyed across the range of popular dining areas and for the warmer months the outdoor spaces are also firm favourites with residents and their loved ones to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.

The dedicated and professional care team at Coppice Court take time to learn about each resident’s hobbies and interests, allowing them to curate an engaging and enriching activity programme, supporting residents to enjoy the things they love most. From building relationships with neighbours in local community groups and schools, to arranging sightseeing trips in the local area, at Coppice Court, residents are also encouraged to take an active role in the Eastbourne community.

I was admitted to Coppice Court in September 2017 having fractured my ankles falling down a step. I have nothing but praise for the staff at Coppice Court. Very friendly and caring.
During my stay, I was fortunate to befriend another long-term resident and continue to visit the home on a regular basis.

I cannot fault the way in which my grandad has been treated here. All the staff are amazing and they treat not only my grandad but our family as people and not just a number. It is so clean and doesn't smell of old people which I found very surprising. One of the staff there is so upbeat and so good
to talk to, she always makes my grandad laugh. Then again all of the staff are amazing however I feel that she has touched our families heart, it doesn't feel like she's a member of staff, it feels like she is family whenever we go there.
The care and compassion that the staff show the residents is brilliant, they treat them like humans and get to know each resident individually.
Thank you to all the management staff and staff for making this a lovely care home, keep up the good work.

The majority of the residents at this home are suffering with Alzheimers disease and are asleep most of the time. I, therefore, cannot have any relationship with any of them. However, the staff treat me as a friend and the activities manager arranges a good programme of one to one events.

Coppice Court is a lovely, happy and caring home. The staff are wonderful, make you feel very welcome.


The food is excellent, dad eats all his food and drinks well. Been a little unsettled today wants to go home, very upsetting, dad looks well.

This home was able to take my husband at very short notice. The care staff are excellent, but I have not really met the manager.
The rooms are 'tired' - a lick of paint would improve them - however, the standard of care is more important than the decor.

Worried that my mother is not warm enough as only a sheet and thin blanket on her bed. Staff member has said she will ask about a quilt for her. Suggest she wears her bed jacket. Staff very helpful. Room clean and tidy.

After a very stressful few weeks when my mother broke her leg and ended up in hospital, it became apparent that she would now require a nursing home. I can honestly say that, without exception, the staff at Coppice Court have been amazing. They have shown great care and concern to myself and my mum
and my hope is that once settled, she can begin to make some progress.

I have just attended the Coppice Court Christmas party. Two different entertainers, a quiz and a raffle, followed by a lovely buffet tea. They know how to celebrate Christmas! Plenty of attentive staff to assist the residents - an enjoyable afternoon, well done!

An excellent "Harvest Lunch" was arranged for today - I was able to have lunch with my husband. The food and service were excellent. Grateful thanks to the Activities Coordinator who organised it. The Mayor and her husband (Consort) were in attendance. They chatted to us both after lunch. We are looking
forward to an outing to a local garden centre soon.

“For me, kind care is treating others as I would like
to be treated.”


As a dedicated health care professional,
Natalie has gained a wealth of experience
in providing care and nursing support to
elderly people, to enrich their lives. She
is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader
who is passionate about delivering the
highest standards in care and quality of
life for Residents.


Having worked at Coppice Court since
2021, Natalie closely shares HC-One’s
vision is aiming to provide the kindest care
for each and every Resident. She extends
this caring approach to her Colleagues
and works closely with them to deliver
care and support Residents in a way
that they gain the most benefit, in a warm
and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about
her role, Natalie remarked: “That every
the day is different, I learn something new and
I can give back to the people who need it
most. This includes supporting our team
in achieving their goals in life”


Natalie has also achieved much
throughout her life, with her proudest
achievements were becoming a mother
and also moving into her role as
Home Manager.


Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending
time with friends and family. She also
enjoys going on winter city holidays with
her family site seeing. The world is such a
beautiful place.
