Well behaved family pets may be brought to visit.
There are very regular activities and entertainers, to which visitors are always welcome to attend, no invitation required.
There is an on site car park but this is very difficult to approach as on a steep slope. There is free, unrestricted, street parking surrounding the home.

Thank you for your review. Where a client is very poorly there is often a need to blend or mix food to address a primary healthcare need. This does come at the expense of presentation and food, e.g. fortified food, can be less palatable. Rooms are all larger than the recommended minimum size. The Home has many rooms of varying sizes. A few rooms do have lino floors to allow for easy cleaning depending on the needs of the client. The Home does not supply scissors to clients with mental health issues for health and safety reasons. Additional items such as extra incontinence pads are charged, we feel it is important clients stay comfortable and this sometimes means we change clients over and above their allotted free pads provided by prescription. Personal condolences are conveyed and a card is sent to all bereaved families but not necessarily the extended family. Our rates depend on the level of care required, invoices are addressed as instructed by the immediate family on admission.
