Camelot is the only Care Home with nursing owned by the proprietor Ms Susan Munro.

It is well positioned for access to the town of Worthing, the seafront and regular bus and train services.

It is a comfortable home with a good atmosphere, always commented on by visitors.

The staff team create a loving environment in which residents live.

It has an outside area where residents can enjoy afternoon tea and where visitors are welcome to spend time with a family member, as well as a delightful, large lounge where residents and their families can celebrate birthdays as well as just watch TV or enjoy sitting quietly with a book.

The home's activity person and her volunteer provide various activities some from outside entertainers and in-house sessions, all of which are enjoyed by the residents.

They also provide a one to one session according to the wishes of the resident.

Room service is offered as well as a lovely bright dining room. They have an excellent 4-week menu, with a variety of choices; they can accommodate most dietary requirements. Food is available 24 hours a day.

The chef is very flexible and is happy to accommodate residents' preferences.

I have been visiting my partner in Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home for six years and continue to find the standard of care that is provided for her remains as high in quality as ever. I am always pleased to see that she is always made very comfortable.
The members of staff have always been
most welcoming towards me and have quickly responded to any concerns that may have arisen.

Our mum has been a resident at Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home for some time and has always been cared for and treated with respect.
The staff have an excellent attitude and approach to their work. It is clear to see that they are considerably happier working with the current management than
they were with their predecessors. They are always friendly and attentive to residents as well as welcoming to visitors.
There are activities for the residents every weekday, ranging from quizzes to live entertainers which is very nice to see and gives a good deal of stimulation and enjoyment to them.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Camelot for caring for loved ones when the need arises.

My friend is very happy at Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home and it's good to see her relaxed and well cared for.
My biggest impression is of the friendliness and general happiness of the staff any time I visit which I think speaks volumes. They obviously love their job and the people they care
for.
Note - the care/support is "satisfactory" rather than excellent because my friend finds it annoying/difficult to have to ask for her medication having been so independent and still mentally capable.

My mother was transferred here, following a long stay in the hospital following a heart attack. My mother is 93, very frail and suffers periods of confusion. As a family, we have been extremely happy with the level of care, that she has received. The staff are very friendly and very attentive to Mum's
needs. They always smile and treat her with dignity and respect. We couldn't ask for a better level of care than she has received since arriving here.

Since I first went to view the home I was greeted by the manager who immediately put me at ease with his friendly manner, helping me with what is a difficult and sad decision of someone you care for needing nursing care. Since then, the team have been so friendly, cheerful and caring to my husband and
indeed me. He has already built a rapport with them which is comforting to me and our family.

When I visit my nan in Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home the staff are always so friendly and smiley, offering drinks etc.
My nan looks very happy to be here and smiles when the staff come in to see her and they let her dog visit which is nice for her.

I was quite concerned putting Mum into a home at first but she has settled in so well, the staff are super friendly and very attentive to not just the residents but the families also. I was won over by the manager who is so friendly and helpful and made sure we were all settled and happy with Mum being
in a home, always having his door open if we need him. The home is clean, doesn't smell (very important) and the food is fantastic. Thank you to a wonderful team. We couldn't have asked for more.

The conversations with and friendly smiles of the staff at Camelot Nursing & Residential Care Home are the first thing you notice which makes the home so welcoming. My mother-in-law receives all the care necessary to make her life comfortable and she is glowing with health. My husband and I are so pleased

My dear friend was a resident at Camalot Nursing & Residential Care Home after needing special care when her multi-physical disabilities became too much to cope with at home. Her previous sheltered housing had no way provided her with the care she had paid for and her health had deteriorated badly.
Becoming a Camelot resident changed everything for the better. She was made to feel safe and wanted. The staff treated her with kindness and understanding and she felt she had made new friends there. Staff would pop into her room just to have a chat or a laugh with her and, as a visitor, I was always made welcome. She loved the food especially and one very kind member of staff would make her the meals she loved best and this improved her general health very quickly. Her room was made personal as well as comfortable and functional. Camelot felt like a real home to her. Her mental and physical welfare improved during their care. I would like to thank everyone concerned on her and her family's behalf.

What a lovely, friendly home. All staff are friendly and very supportive. Since the new manager at the home, my godmother has been able to go on trips to local areas with support from the staff. She has never been so happy and cared for. My godmother enjoys the activities at the home and enjoys attending
daily and loves the visiting singers.

Moving to a nursing home from independent living was a difficult decision for my mother-in-law, but I can honestly say I haven’t seen her happier in years. The staff and level of care provided to her were outstanding, and the staff, in my opinion, went above and beyond to ensure that she was happy and
treated with dignity. The small things like staff remembering how she liked her coffee and which mug she liked really made the difference. From speaking to the staff, the majority have worked there for a number of years, which speaks for itself, and it very much feels like a family. All I can say is, thank you.

On my last visit to see my Aunt I noticed a change. I overheard people talking about a new manager. When I asked one of the lovely carers about it she confirmed that there was a new manager in place.
There is a different vibe in the home. My Aunt says that she is very happy and cared for. She is
going out more now which makes her feel better.

My Auntie has been a resident at the home for a few years, when we are in he area we like to visit my Auntie. She has been very settled at the home and always says the staff look after her so well.
My Auntie has her own room which is bright and very clean and my auntie has been able to bring a lot
of her favourite items with her to make her room personal for her.
On our recent visit it was noted there was a new manager at the home, what a transformation in the home, more staff to look after the people in the home and happy caring staff.
My auntie was so happy to have been able to go out with other residents and staff to the town for a coffee and a chat she said she loved the new opportunities in the home.
A friendly caring home would definitely recommend the home.

I visit my mum twice a week, the staff are always very friendly. I feel as if sometimes her hair is not washed as many times as I would like it to be. She does not always have a bottle of squash in her room so I can fill it up for her. The new manager seems very nice and the nurses are very friendly
towards me.

We at the home respect all residents' wishes and it's their choice if they would like to have their hair washed and offered daily showers and staff will always respect residents' wishes and choices. All residents have person-centred care and respecting residents' wishes is paramount. All residents have access to the drinks they like and Mum always has access to a jug of cranberry juice which she enjoys and all nutritional intake is recorded on the daily care notes. We have a wide range of drinks for our residents and staff ensure all residents have access to fluids of their choice. I am happy to read you are happy with the new management and I have an open door policy, please feel free to contact me if you have any further issues or concerns.

The staff are always friendly and obliging.
The home could do with a fresh paint inside but always clean and comfortable.
My mum is going ok and seems clean and has her hair washed regularly.
I am always greeted with a friendly smile and feel that the staff are always efficient in their daily routines.

I visit my mum four or five times a week and always find the staff friendly and efficient. My mum always looks nice and well cared for every time I come. My mum responds to kindness and this is what she receives here.
