We arranged for my sister to be in Aspen Place from 2018 to 2020 and she was always given first-class care and was happy. Consequently, when my brother-in-law needed care home treatment it was his request that it should be Aspen Place. I am sure when COVID is over the activities at the home will be
back to what they were.

My father has been at Aspen Place since late August 2020 and I can only say how lucky we are that my dad was able to secure a place here. Although due to the pandemic, we have only had limited access to the home, the understanding the team has of my father's needs is amazing. It is completely clear
that they understand my father as the individual he is and I truly believe they always have my father's utmost care and best interests at heart. If there is any change in my father's health or well being the team contacts us immediately to discuss their concerns and what they are doing to proactively assist his recovery. If they cannot reach the primary family contact they immediately try another to ensure no delay in information. Prior to moving into Aspen Place, my father spent the previous 8 months in between hospital and three other care homes and I believe it is no coincidence that the best period of continued good health my father has displayed has been whilst in their care.

My Uncle was extremely well looked after in an environment that was ideally suited for him. He was able to get benefit and pleasure from supervised trips outside the home and he enjoyed being in the garden and watering the plants. Family visitors to the home are made very welcome. I was able to enjoy
lunch with my uncle in the communal dining area on more than one occasion. Security at this care home is impressive and the residents are in a very safe environment.

I needed extra care after being released from the hospital. The treatment was really good. The staff is good. Everyone was helpful.

My mum has been a resident in Aspen Place since April 2019, in fact, it was her choice, as there was a good feel about it (and she wasn't wrong) Her first day there she had her hair cut and set which made her feel good. The atmosphere is very good especially with the open plan feel about the place.
All the staff from reception, nurses, carers, chefs and hospitality make you feel welcome. There is always a lot going on with entertainment, exercises etc. Never a dull moment!

Finding Aspen Place on my journey of looking for a care home for my father was - quite simply - a huge relief and breath of fresh air. Anyone who supports and cares for their loved ones will understand the huge responsibility of making decisions for them when they can no longer do this for themselves.
My father has been resident at Aspen Place for six months, having been cared for at home by my mum for several years. From the first phone call that I made to the home to today, our experience has been positive and consistent. The home is well managed, the management very approachable, the staff seem to work extremely well as a team and go the extra mile to make the home a special place to live and visit. This applies to the carers, the nursing staff, the lifestyle coordinators, hospitality and housekeeping. Communication is excellent. My father has gained confidence and strength and is comfortable and secure. He also loves the meals which are a credit to the chefs. Thank you Aspen Place.

My sister in law is a resident of Aspen Place. My husband and I live several hundred miles from Aspen Place but try and visit as often as possible. We have been really impressed by the standard of this home in all aspects. The most important aspect of any home is the staff and it is so reassuring that
everyone is so caring and thoughtful. They have created such a calm and relaxed atmosphere it is also very homely and safe. The place is immaculately clean and the food is tasty and more than adequate.

My mother has spent the past 3 years at Aspen Place until her very recent death. On entering the home, she was extremely poorly and through tremendous care and compassion restored her physical and mental capacity that brought about a quality of life that had escaped her over recent years.
I personally
can't thank the staff of the wonderful facility enough. Living 4-5 hrs drive away from mum often left me guilt-ridden and I took great comfort in the knowledge that she was lovingly cared for.
I was on first name terms with many of the staff and thank you all for keeping me informed and for making mum's stay such a pleasant experience. Bless you all.

Our lovely dad spent his last 4 + years at Aspen Place until his death last December. Mum also spent her last weeks here, allowing them precious time together with staff mum already knew. This greatly eased the pressure on our family. Aspen Place has evolved into a wonderful home - both in terms of
the purpose-built, fully refurbished building but also its dynamic, dedicated and devoted staff team. Excellent care is delivered with real love, compassion and patience, ensuring the best quality of life and of death for dad. The owner reminded me that Aspen Place is my home too and I couldn't have been better supported. He and other staff joined us at dad's funeral. The path leading to placing a loved one in care is recognised as traumatic for all involved and support is extended to relatives and friends. “Aspen Place People” - residents, relatives, volunteers and staff, feel very much part of our extended family and I hope will always remain so. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Aspen Place is a wonderful nursing home! I supported my grandmother to move here nine months ago and she has lived here happily ever since. All of the staff are incredibly caring, compassionate and attentive and quickly learn people's individual preferences, needs and quirks! The consistency of staff
is brilliant. It is so difficult to find the right care for a loved one and I am the first to admit that as a nurse I am incredibly fussy, but I am so pleased that we found Aspen Place. After a fall, my grandmother lost a significant amount of her mobility and required a wheelchair, which I know often becomes a permanent change in the elderly, but staff worked hard to rehabilitate her back to being able to walk again with a frame which is fantastic and a testament to their dedication. There is a sense that they truly care about their residents and they are always trying to go the extra mile. As a relative, I am always kept up to date and any queries are resolved quickly by management.

Christmas at Aspen Place was wonderful, the staff worked so hard, the home was decorated all over the home. Christmas day was like a big family Christmas the residents had a wonderful day. My dad really enjoyed himself he had three-course meal, red wine or white or juice.
My dad is very happy in the
home, it's like being in a big family. Always welcome.

We have been very pleased with the care mum has received here. She is always clean and presentable. Her room is very nice and comfortable. She was with her husband when he passed away (his wishes) The staff took care of him very well too although he was very ill. Since then mum hasn't been upset at

Aspen Place is a lovely home. The staff are very friendly and caring. They treat my mother with the utmost respect and compassion. The staff are very attentive and always respond quickly if a resident asks for or needs help. The environment is very clean and tidy and the outside area is purpose-built
to allow access by wheelchair users. It is available to use all year round as the pathways are not grass and therefore not susceptible to weather changes.

My mother came to this care home on 1st December 2018. To date, I have found it to be an excellent care home with dedicated carers, nurses and managers.


My mother has settled very well and thinks it's a hotel (due to her vascular dementia). She is very happy at the home.

My dad has only been at this home for three weeks, quite remarkable how much he’s improved just short time he has been here my dad has MRSA. He’s just had his first test shows negative for the MRSA. We have struggled to keep it under control but this wonderful home for my dad has managed to get my dad
negative position reading for MRSA.
We have struggled with it for many years. Highly recommended as we all know how hard it is to find the right place your mum or dad. The staff of exceptional here very polite and helpful.
