My mum has Alzheimer's disease. She was struggling to live independently so it was such a relief to find her a place at Linfield House Care Home. The staff at the home constantly exceeds my expectations. My mum is genuinely loved here. Her needs are always put first. Communication with the family is
always excellent. Any changes in her needs are reported immediately. The home is so warm and welcoming. Thank you to all the fantastic staff at Linfield House. Our family will always be grateful for the care you have given to Mum at this stage of her life.

The care staff at Linfield have been so wonderful. When my mother arrived from the hospital in 2018 she was very frail, she has thrived at Linfield since that time. I live overseas, it is so important to know that the staff really keep a careful eye on her. Every time I call she is happy and comfortable.
I originally had a hard time being able to speak to Mum by phone. We now have a planned time for my call to a phone in her room. The food is amazing, they have done so much to make sure she can have some of her favourites. Mum now has to have a soft diet which they make appetizing.

Given that mum could no longer live a fulfilled and safe life in her own home anymore, her only option was to go into care. This seemingly huge compromise turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Her last three years in Linfield gave her a new extended family in the staff and carers. Their
genuine interest and care for her physical and mental well-being cannot be overstated. She knew she had people around her who genuinely loved her at the end, and for that, I shall be eternally grateful. Linfield House has proved that going into care doesn't have to be a sad or a diminishing option for anyone who needs help to continue to have a good life.

My cousin has been a resident at Linfield House for over four years. The physical and medical care he has received has been very satisfactory. We live some distance away but when we visit, staff show care and attention, and also patience, which is so important as my cousin's physical condition and dementia
sadly worsen. A lot of effort was made during the Covid period to protect residents and to enable visits which was much appreciated. We receive regular updates and photos/videos of residents involved in activities which help us to stay in touch. We feel great confidence in the care Linfield provides.

Mum moved to Linfield house in May and we couldn't be happier with the care she is receiving. As a family, we all feel welcome when visiting. The atmosphere in the home is calm which was really important for us for mum. The facilities are great, the staff are helpful, kind and approachable. I feel included
in mum's new home and kept aware of what's going on.

My mother was placed with Linfield House following her hip operation and subsequent complications. With nurturing, mum began to respond, and her overall demeanour and weight improved.


She has had a lovely stay and I can confidently say that the care and compassion she has received at Lindfield House

have been of the highest standard.


If it wasn't for everybody at Linfield getting mum back on her feet, encouraging her to walk and be a little more independent, the transition back home would have been a much more complicated exercise.


Mum is thriving and with comparable care is enjoying the more active life that Linfield laid the foundations of. Thank you again.

Five weeks of kind, considerate and time-consuming care was given to my wife when she arrived at Linfield House from the hospital. As members of her family, we were made welcome by all members of staff whenever we visited. We could not have asked for more than we and she received. Although we had hoped
to have her home again, that proved impossible. But we will always be grateful that her life found its peaceful ending in such a loving and caring home.

I get tested for covid, staff very helpful they take me to see my mum, ask if I would like a drink. A member of the staff always rings me every month to ask me if I am happy with the care mum is getting. It is nice that they keep in touch with me.

My Mum moved to Linfield House quite recently and I am very happy with the care she receives. As a designated Carer Visitor I can visit her often and remain a consistent and essential family contact and support for her. In these difficult times, this has been a lifeline for all of us. The staff have
been amazing. They are friendly and kind and very, very caring. The communication from all members of staff is fantastic. I am involved in all decisions involving Mum's care and the staff are always ready to listen and act on suggestions. They quickly understood Mum's needs and likes and dislikes and go any lengths to accommodate her. I cannot commend them highly enough.

Linfield House provides excellent care for my mother, I couldn’t wish for any more, and never worry about her.
Even in these difficult times I can phone and have chat with mum.
She has her papers which she loves every day gets her hair done when she wants and is always happy.

My mother moved to Linfield House from another care home and we have been absolutely delighted with the care that she has received. When I used to visit her in her previous place she was usually sitting on her own in her room when I arrived. Now, at Linfield, she is always in the sitting room and often
with a carer doing an activity. That is unless she is off doing karaoke or seeing a film in the cinema room. We chose Linfield against other homes we viewed because the Deputy Manager actually took an interest in my mother's needs in a detailed conversation during our visit. Linfield was the only place that did this. The same staff are always working on my mother's wing so she feels she knows them and that helps her feel secure. And without exception, the staff are kind, interested and involved. I couldn't recommend Linfield more highly.

My family could not be happier with the outstanding care delivered by the team at Linfield House. From the day of arrival from the acute stroke ward while in hospital under the Covid-19 legislation, our mum has received every aspect of care with diligence, compassion, and professionalism. The contact with Linfield House prior to my father's stay was fantastic. All his needs were prepared for and immediately on arrival they were waiting, ready for his respite care. Lovely warm and friendly environment. Made my father feel very welcome. Would most definitely be using Linfield House again
for future respite care.

My auntie was a resident at Linfield for a number of years. She felt well looked after and considered it to be her home. The staff have been amazing over this very difficult period. They have always kept me up to date with my auntie’s condition and have been caring and professional.

My Dad has been a resident here since the beginning of the pandemic. This was due to his complex health care needs including Alzheimer’s and Mum's need to shield. We were able to keep up contact through phone calls initially and then through Skype calls as well. Being able to see Dad and speak to him
during this worrying time, was lovely. Then the time came when we were able to see him in garden visits. The love and care shown to Dad and myself was heartwarming. The hard part was saying goodbye without a kiss and hug, but as it was so apparent he was thought of so warmly made it easier. Everyone of the staff at Linfield House is fantastic. To them this isn’t just a job it’s a vocation.

As Clinical Lead I oversee the clinical team and nurses to ensure that all areas are functioning correctly in line with CQC and the NMC. I oversee medication management and conduct clinical assessments for new residents before they move into our home. A key part of my role is liaising with residents' families on their loved one's health and care plans.
