Cherry Hinton Care Home is a warm inviting home offering expert nursing and dementia care to those requiring support or assistance. The home prides itself on the experienced, personalised, bespoke and attentive care provided to residents which is delivered by a team of dedicated and committed carers and nurses. Cherry Hinton are proud to announce their Hospitality Assured Accreditation 'WORLD CLASS' status along with their Investors in People Platinum award. The home is rated GOOD across all borders in their most recent CQC virtual inspection which was conducted in July 2021.

The wellbeing team are passionate about providing a range of activities, trips and events which cater to the interests of those living at the home. Whether enjoying musical, word, activity, arts and crafts or creative activities or enjoying trips to museums and places of interests, the team are enthused by offering something for everyone to suit all preferences.

The enclosed courtyard garden offers a beautiful tranquil space to enjoy, enabling all residents to wander through and take pleasure in hearing and seeing stimulating sounds and sights in different areas. Raised beds enable easy access to plants for residents to be able to touch and smell the flora and fauna, and a lovely conservatory also allows for residents to sit in comfort and look out over the garden which can be enjoyed all year around.

Quality furniture and soft furnishings are used throughout the home to provide a high level of comfort for residents and the home invests in refurbishment to maintain the standards of a quality environment. Rooms are spacious and fully furnished as well as all supplied with LCD TV. The home offers high-speed internet access for both residents and their visitors.

The home has good transport links with the city centre and the local shops.

This is my new home now, I was welcomed in by a very excellent manager and reception staff. The nurses here are so caring and very helpful and are very kind. The food is very thoughtfully prepared by a good cook. I cannot speak high enough and am very happy here.

Everyone is always very friendly and always seems to take great care of our dear friend. Menu always sounds great and we've heard about some really nice events. Very sweet that there's a snack and drink station in the entrance too.

Sadly my Dad was only with you for three weeks but I've got to say that during those three weeks, he experienced nothing but 100% care and dedication from your team when I asked him if he was happy he said he was. The home was well-maintained very welcoming and very clean. The food was exceptional standard
and my Dad did say he enjoyed that they put on a barbecue with live music which my Dad said was a wonderful day and he enjoyed it. I want to thank all the staff from management down to the domestics for their love and support for my Dad and his last three weeks of life.

After visiting my grandad over the weekend, I wanted to update my review and share my thoughts on the care home. This place is amazing, over the previous weekend all the residents were outside partying and enjoying themselves in the garden. It was such a wonderful experience, with many smiles all around.
I have visited my grandfather several times at Cherry Hinton Care Home and have always been impressed by the experience. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment for residents and visitors alike. The staff are invariably polite, respectful, and attentive, ensuring that all the residents receive the best possible care. I am grateful for the peace of mind knowing my grandfather is in such capable and caring hands.

TLC Cherry Hilton Care Home is an environment where the residents are truly the heartbeat of the organisation.
A well-organised and cohesive team provides loving and compassionate care for my terminally ill Father (cleaners to home manager and nurses).

Our mother was poorly when we moved her to the nursing wing of TLC Home but as a family, we were very pleased we had chosen this Home. Mum received excellent care and as a family, we felt we were looked after as well through a very sad time for us. All the staff were very kind, attentive, courteous
and professional. We knew Mum was in safe hands, very, very important at a stressful time.

We cannot fault Cherry Hinton Care Home in any way. My father spent the last 9 days of his life with you and every single member of staff from cleaners to cooks and all the medical staff showed him and our family such kindness and compassion. Always a nice warm welcome at Cherry Hinton Care Home. My mother's care is excellent. She is always nice and clean as is her room, every single member of staff is very helpful and caring. There is always someone at hand if needed. We visit most days and feel we are part of the T L C family.

My father has been a resident for 2 weeks. From his initial assessment to moving in and settling has been excellent. Communication with the family has been good. He is involved out which he thoroughly enjoyed. Food is very good and they encourage family to join every now and then. Everyone is happy
and there are lots of staff to ensure they are all are and cared for.

I joined Cherry Hinton Care Home in November 2019 as a Care Services manager. I am a Registered nurse by profession with a management qualification at Graduate level. I worked as a Registered nurse in various settings for 8 years and worked as a Care Manager for the last 5 years. Caring is my passion and I worked my way up from being a carer. I've been promoted as Home Manager from February 1st 2021. In my role, I make sure that all our residents are getting high-quality, person-centred care based on their needs and preferences. Also, support all our residents to maintain the quality of life by preserving and promoting independence. I have a very good team of highly motivated and skilled nurses and carers to support me to ensure quality of care to all our residents.
