My wife and I cannot praise Barchester Hilton Park Care Home enough for their care, compassion and support of my wife's late father whilst a resident. We feel he was part of a big, loving family and we have come to regard the staff, management and nurses as personal friends. our very grateful thanks
to them all and for the warm welcome they always give us when we visit them, which we continue to do regularly.

My uncle has been staying in this home since February 2023. I am very pleased with the standards and duty care that my uncle receives. The staff and the environment are very nice. Everything about his needs are met. All staff are very good in every department. I would not want my uncle to be anywhere

Lovely surroundings with very helpful and friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble to ensure a comfortable stay. The room quality is excellent, along with the facilities on offer make for a good feeling of care and security. The food was excellent, and the meticulous preparation by the staff
before my elderly mother arrived is to be commended. My wife and I cannot thank Hilton Park Care Home for providing my mother with a fantastic respite stay and allowing us to enjoy our holiday trouble-free.

My mother has been at Barchester Hilton Park Care Home for three years now, and though her dementia is progressing, she continues to be happy and settled in Kings Unit with staff who are kind and patient and who do their utmost to ensure she can enjoy her daily walk out and around the lovely garden.
Her room is always tidy, and she is always well-presented with fresh, clean clothes in her favourite colours. The meals are very good, and she has maintained her weight and even gained some. Musical entertainment in the company of others is a highlight of each week, and simple Bingo with useful prizes sparks their innate competitiveness and gives a sense of achievement if they win. Every day, there is something to add “colour” to their day and companionship.

As one of 3 daughters of one of your your longer standing residents and living in Austria, I have visited Hilton Park on several occasions and through social media I am able to witness the happiness and the joyful activities the residents are able to enjoy and participate in. Our only means of communication
when I’m out of the country is a digital assistant and when the line is for some reason disconnected I mail the manager of Kings and within a short time we are reengaged. Your staff are so helpful and understanding to make these last golden years as happy for the residents as possible. Our mother was 95 in April and the party we had would have been a knees up for a much younger celebrant! A band, dancing, a massive cake by kind creation of your master chef, balloons and bags of fun and great vibes to set her on her way to the next happy goalpost! We‘re so fortunate in landing such a lovely, caring home where she feels so cocooned and comfortable in her twilight years!

My mother-in-law really likes it here. The staff are very kind and really good at what they do. She enjoys the activities and she loves her big room, makes her feel at home. I have known my mother-in-law for 19 years and I have never seen her so happy. What a lovely care home. Keep up the good work.

My husband had been in Hilton Park for 3 years until his passing last week, during those years all the staff have been outstanding, kind, caring, smiling faces greeted us when visiting, nothing was too much trouble right up to the very end. My family will miss you all, as well as the entertainment we
had great fun singing along or playing bingo. As a family words can’t express how we feel about you all, you went above and beyond your duty of care, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you.

My brother arrived at Hilton Park Care Home mental health unit with many complex physical and psychiatric needs.
In just a few weeks he has improved immensely and now looks ten years younger.

All of the staff has been very friendly and approachable. I am a regular volunteer and from the past few months that I have been coming, I can definitely say that the staff (especially the activity team) has been very kind towards me and very accommodating towards all of the residents. They encourage
them to take part in activities from bingo and muscle exercises to more tranquil ones, like tea and coffee in the lounge.

My father was very fortunate to spend his last remaining years at Hilton Park Care Home.
The facilities were always immaculate and Dad had a lovely room with an en suite and two external windows. The carers were very understanding of Dad's needs and clearly took the time to really get to know Dad,
some little personal touches were very much appreciated by the family.
The nursing staff were excellent and were always able to update us and relay any concerns we may have had. Not least also the management staff were excellent and dealt with all the necessary and sometimes sensitive issues extremely professionally at all times. I highly recommend Hilton Park.

Hilton Park was very welcoming and the care standard was very good from all staff and requests were attended to, though sometimes messages were slow. My only concerns were at weekends when there were only care staff on duty and I came and went seeing no management so the nursing staff were very stretched
to accommodate this. We arrived on a Friday evening after a hospital procedure and the room was not fully prepared, no one to sign us in etc.

My mother was a resident of Barchester Hilton Park Care Home from October 2019 to her passing in August 2022. The care was outstanding. All staff, from nurses, carers, activity teams, entertainment, maintenance, laundry, hairdressing and chiropody, to admin and reception staff, were caring, considerate
and supportive throughout Mum's time here. Mum suffered with vascular dementia and arthritis and was soon immobile. The staff ensured she was stimulated with activities and company, whether in a wheelchair or in her bedroom, such as visual displays on her ceiling or walls, animals in her room, such as goats, dogs, rabbits and sheep, as well as staff reading to her, doing her nails etc. Once in her tilt-in-space wheelchair (and when pandemic rules relaxed), she was able to engage with a greater variety of entertainment in the atriums, including musicians, magicians etc. The Easter and summer fetes were really enjoyable occasions for us all to enjoy together in the wonderful gardens. Fantastic, 10/10.

Hello, my name is Geanina, and I am General Manager here at Hilton Park Care Home.


I qualified as a Nurse over 14 years ago and joined Barchester as General Manager in 2017.


Caring for frail older people has always been very close to my heart, and my team are committed to ensuring that all of our residents receive the highest quality care at all times.


It is hugely rewarding to be able to support our residents and help them to lead fully enriched lives in their new homes. I cannot praise my team enough and it gives me great pleasure to help mentor and develop their nursing careers with Barchester too!


I have always believed in a very “hands-on” approach to running a home, as I feel that it is the best way to build relationships and get to thoroughly know our residents even more.

I’ve proudly worked at Hilton Park for 20 years, starting in 2004 as a Care Assistant. Over the years, I’ve grown within the team and now hold the role of Team Leader. I’m passionate about providing high-quality care and supporting both our residents and my colleagues.


I’m also working towards becoming a Care Practitioner, continuing my journey of professional development.


Hilton Park has been my home for two decades, and I’m committed to making a positive impact every day.

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a Carer, Dementia Champion and Activities Team Member at Hilton Park.


I’ve been part of the Hilton Park team since 2019, starting as a Care Assistant. In 2022, I became a Dementia Champion, and alongside my caring duties, I’m now also part of the Activities Team.


As a Carer, I’m dedicated to providing compassionate and personalised care to our residents. In my role as a Dementia Champion, I focus on raising awareness and promoting best practices for supporting those living with dementia, ensuring they receive the care and understanding they deserve. Additionally, being part of the Activities Team allows me to organise and lead activities that bring joy, engagement, and connection to our residents, helping to enhance their daily lives.

Hello, my name is Corina and I am a Team Leader/Admin Assistant at Hilton Park.


I joined Hilton Park in 2019 as a Care Assistant and have since progressed to Team Leader. Recently, I’ve also taken on the role of Admin Assistant, where I help with administrative tasks alongside my leadership duties.


As a Team Leader, I guide the care team to ensure we provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. In my admin role, I assist with scheduling, record-keeping, and supporting the smooth running of our care services. I’m passionate about making a positive impact in both roles every day.
