The home is the best run happiest home I have ever visited. I have never had a bad experience when visiting. The staff are happy so this has a knock on effect on the residents and they are all so well cared for! The reception staff are always welcoming and helpful.
The nursing staff take great care
with my friend and she has improved greatly since she has bee at the home. She had a grade 4 sore from the last home she was in, it is now gone incredible. I would recommend the home for anyone's loved one or even myself.

I visit my nan on a regular basis and always receive a warm welcome by all the staff they are so helpful from the moment I walked in I can see how well maintained, and clean the home is and my nan is always washed and dressed, her room is spotless. They have lots of entertainment for the residents and
the food is always available and looks lovely. If anything happens to my nan they always let the family know and my nan is much happier in Longueville Court Care Home than she ever was in any of the other care homes. So nice I have told my mum she will be coming here.

The staff on arrival are very welcoming and friendly. They are very keen to be of assistance to both the residents and visitors. The carers are very warm and kind to the residents, showing personal interest. They do their best to stimulate the resident's brains through enjoyable activities. I heard
two singing with my friend which made her smile and laugh.

Barchester Longueville Court Care Home is a lovely place and my Grandad was very happy whilst at the home. You are able to join in with a varied activities programme if you wish to. The staff are very friendly and the food is great. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.

When my Nan was transferred from London to the Barchester in Peterborough last year we as a family did not know what to expect. When we first arrived the staff could not have been more caring and kind towards us and Nan. They made us all feel welcome even the great grandchildren, explaining the facilities
available. We were able to personalise her room to make her feel more settled and safe in her surroundings as the move was confusing with Nan having Alzheimer's.The team looking after Nan treat her with kindness and patience and kept us fully informed on how she was each day. The home provides hair services etc and each day we arrived Nan was washed dressed and looking smart and presentable which was very important to her and unfortunately due to her Alzheimer's had been difficult for her to achieve when she was living at home. They were no restriction on visiting so we were able to spend lots of time at the home which was great until Nan passed away at the age of 89.

I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for quality of care for their loved ones. From the minute you arrive at reception you are greeted by friendly, polite and helpful staff who make you feel welcome. During my daily visits, I met members of the management team, activities team,
nursing staff, carers, maintenance, and the cleaners; every single person I met had those same qualities. I was particularly impressed by the full weekly activities program on offer to all the residents, to make them feel part of the home.

I have been visiting Longueville Court every Wednesday for about 2 years. I visit 2 friends at the far end so I see most of the building and the employees inside. I have seen them at their best and at their worst in summer and in winter. The standard and quality is excellent. The manager's door is always
open.

Once again overwhelmed by the care and attention to detail and how well my relative is cared for. She could not be anywhere better and as a community nurse, I have always been able to find some fault with some care or some aspect of the home. This home is the only place I have ever been in that truly
feels like a home I would want any of my family or myself to be cared for if needed.

After the first home Mum was in Longueville was heaven, you walk in and no nasty smells, anyone would think they had walked into a fantastic hotel, basically it was home from home, with a huge family added. Every single person employed from gardener up to Manager was a member. The care was wonderful
and no-one could have been treated better from my point of view even with her problems. Mum loved it, appreciated all the hard work put in by everyone there. Sadly she passed recently, even the doctor and undertakers couldn't have been more caring at the end. She was treated with dignity by them and it was a peaceful end for her.

My mother has lived at Longueville Court for 3 months and the standard of care is excellent. The staff are very friendly and always willing to do extra to make the residents feel happy. There is a very good choice of food and drink and a very varied activity programme to keep the residents occupied,
including trips out. Visitors are always welcomed with a warm greeting from the receptionist, I would thoroughly recommend.

My dad was a resident in Longueville Court, Memory Lane Community for 3 1/2 years. His care was 5 star. Every member of staff from admin, the gardener, cleaners and carers were wonderful. They looked after my dad so well and to myself after he passed away. Family is the word I would use to describe
them all.

I can honestly say, in my experience, this is the best care home I have ever visited and I am grateful for the care that they provided here for my grandmother. The staff are beyond amazing, their attitude and care toward residents is above and beyond expectation. My family was given the chance of another
year with my nan because of the attentive, wonderful care of these people. She was comfortable, happy and relaxed in this care home and we were able to enjoy the last of our time with her here. I cannot praise and thank these lovely people enough, their brilliant balance of professionalism and the ability to treat patients and relatives as if they were their own family, sets them apart from any other home I have been to. There are no words to fully explain the work these people do here - they are angels. Thank you so much and I would highly recommend anybody considering using Longueville Court to go ahead and visit for themselves.

My partner was in hospital and we looked at almost all the nursing homes in Peterborough, and we were pleased when we were offered a place at Longueville Court. When we were shown around I was impressed by they number of staff around, and it has been my experience that there is always staff available.
All the staff are pleasant and helpful, and they genuinely take an interest in her welfare. Many care homes reek of incontinence, but that is not the case at Longueville Court. There is a varied programme of activities including some talented outside acts. friends and relations are encouraged to visit and receive a warm welcome when they do so. My mother was a resident at another Peterborough nursing home and I soon realised that she was not getting the attention that was warranted, so it is a great relief that my partner is in an excellent home.

The care shown by all staff including nurses has been excellent. They go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy. The Kingfisher Unit is the specific area I am talking about. Staff are sometimes stretched to the limit (when they are always working hard and running around to get things done) which
is unfair on them. They always had time to smile and say hello in passing to my mother but it would be great if all carer homes had a person to spend one hour a day with a resident to just talk, hold hand, be there, it makes all the difference.

I am writing this as the wife of my husband who, passed away yesterday after 4 and a half years as a resident of Longueville Court Care Home, Peterborough. My husband had the best of care in this lovely place, from the cleaners, the maintenance staff, the carers, the nurses, and the management, in fact
everyone. He had such loving care and I can't praise them enough.

I like to make sure Longueville Court is part of the local community and our usual programme of activities includes outings, pub lunches and having guests and entertainers at our home.
