Ashlynn Grange care home is a part of the Athena Care Homes (UK) Ltd group, situated in Bretton Gate Peterborough. The care home offers Nursing, Dementia Nursing, Residential, Residential Dementia and Palliative care. Intermediate and Respite care are also provided.

The home is all ground floor for ease of access for residents and visitors and is situated 200 metres from Peterborough City Hospital. All rooms have en-suite facilities.

The nursing and care team are trained to an extremely high standard to enable them to provide exceptional compassionate care.

Their newly refurbished café is an ideal place to come and have some freshly baked, home-made cake and a cup of tea or coffee with your loved one, or even pop in to see how staff can help support you.

The care my father has received has been amazing. The food is excellent. The staff are very good and caring. Nothing is too much trouble.

My mother has been at Ashlynn Grange since end of September 2018. She moved from her previous care home because her needs had changed and needed extra care. What an improvement! The carers and nurses are friendly and caring about "their" residents and mum is happy and well cared for.
It's lovely that
her room is on the ground floor so she can see the birds and squirrels from her patio doors and I enjoy being able to take her out in her wheelchair to the care home's cafe for a change of scenery and slice of cake!
There are no restrictions on visiting hours and liaison between myself and the care home staff is professional and carried out well. I am very happy that mum is at Ashlynn Grange and being well cared for.

My mother came to Ashlynn Grange during September 2018. Since coming here both her demeanour and her mobility has improved. Although I have witnessed my mother showing signs of frustration and even anger, the staff are always polite, kind and respectful. I admire their dedication and teamwork. Any issues
I have noticed or queries I have raised have always been dealt with in a professional manner, I am confident that my mother is being well looked after.

During my Fathers stay at Ashlynn Grange he was well cared for, sometimes it would take time to find a carer when he needed help but they do have a lot of residents to look after.

My father's needs are greater than some, as he has very limited mobility and requires additional nursing care. I have been very satisfied with all aspects of dad's care and he is also happy with his room, the carers and the food with no complaints whatsoever. I consider the staff to be highly competent
and very caring; also friendly and informative. There are no restrictions on visiting hours and I could take dad outside (weather permitting) when he was able. The laundry service has been an added bonus.

I find the staff very friendly and helpful and always ready to help. They are very caring to all residents and try to keep them entertained and happy by talking and having a laugh and joke with them. They always try to help with meals and try to encourage them to eat.

My father was in hospital before being placed in Hayward House, Ashlynn Grange.
He couldn't walk or stand without falling.
With help from the excellent staff, he is walking with two people supporting him.
He tries to stand holding on to furniture.
Someone always comes to help him.
The staff talk
to him as well and he tries to communicate with them.

My husband has been in Hayward House, Ashlynn Grange for four weeks.
In less than two weeks he improved so much he was walking with two people supporting him and is gaining confidence daily.
Before he was in bed or in an armchair.
The staff are so friendly and patient, encouraging him to walk.

is incredible the progress he has made.

The family would like to thank all at Ashlynn Grange for the loving care and attention they have given our mother over the past year. The management and staff have been like an extended family to mum and us dealing with her sensitively in a very hard working environment and with so many working demands.
The space for the residents at the home is an advantage for the pacers; good sized bedrooms with bathrooms, conservatory, dining and sitting room. We were informed of developments towards mum's passing and had access to her whatever the time. It was a huge relief to us that mum was cared for so well.

Well I don't have any faults of the care home, nice and clean and the staff are very pleasant all the time and helpful and I had Christmas dinner there and that was very nice. I told the chef when I was there, I spoke to some residents.

My grandmother seems very happy here at Haywood House. She enjoys the food and likes the communal areas. I have seen her involved in various activities such as painting and drawing; she has her work displayed on the wall which is especially nice to see. She says that she feels safe and secure here,
so I am satisfied with her quality of care.

Renju is a qualified nurse and has been working in hospitals and care settings since 2007.


Renju is keen that Ashlynn Grange is a central pillar of our local community and wants to deliver a culture of excellence in everything our home does.


Outside of work, Renju is mother to three children and loves to travel. She is also an active member of her local church, where she contributes to teaching and community activities.
