The staff brought my mother to my house in the mini-bus (my mother is wheelchair bound) so mum could enjoy her 90th birthday lunch with her 5 children who hadn't been altogether for 18 years. The staff collected mum and took her back to her room.


Incredible pleased with the home and Mum is happy

there.

I visit weekly and find the staff very sociable and approachable. The general appearance of rooms, walkways and group rooms are very clean and kept tidy. I am pleased with the way my sister is looked after.

It was such a stressful time when we knew mum could not live by herself anymore and we could not have found a more caring and loving home. The peace of mind we have with her living here is amazing and all the staff are awesome.

My Grandmother has been a resident now for over two and a half years. I can honestly say moving to Lincoln House was the best thing she has done for herself. My Grandmother is treated so well and looked after by some excellent staff. Staff are always incredibly friendly to us when we visit and are always
happy to answer any questions we may have.


I would certainly recommend Lincoln House as a caring and pleasant home.

Visits to Lincoln House Care Home by me and other knitters are always a rewarding event.
We regularly join in with residents knitting groups who also support Norfolk knitters.
Always smiling. Their activities manager actively encourages interaction with others.

What a wonderful welcome we received at Lincoln House when I accompanied my husband from hospital, for end of life care. Everyone is so friendly and relaxed, and the general atmosphere is homely. It seems nothing is too much trouble, from a shower at an odd time to a meal of food not on the menu!


The

visitors' kitchen is a useful facility for heating soup, getting ice for drinks or making a cuppa! There are activities to entertain people but my husband enjoyed the peace and quiet and was checked regularly.

You won't find better!


My father needed palliative care. The carers were excellent, providing him and his family care with kindness, skill, and a smile. The food was fantastic, fresh local asparagus and sumptuous chicken pie would persuade him to eat if anything would. Many times they went out of

their way to go above and beyond to help; from admitting in record time to finding him lip salve.


Two other facts are important. First, life simply isn't always perfect (this is as close as it gets). They dealt with concerns as something to address, not be defensive about. That is so unusual!
The 2nd major plus is their GP. I have lots of experience of palliative care in nursing homes, and he is exceptional; up front, practical, and kind. I saw lots of examples of him going in (unpaid) out of hours and going way beyond what could be expected of a GP. Prior planning is key to a good death, and he planned effectively.


I am very grateful for the care they gave my father and his family, in his last days.

I know that every time I leave Lincoln House, that my mother is in safe, caring hands. She is very frail now but always handled with care dignity and respect. A recent hospital stay caused many problems but since she has been back in the home, her health, demeanour and well-being have all improved immensely.
There is always laughter and a feeling of warmth. I visit at varied times of the day but have never felt it was the "wrong" time. I am made so welcome and I know that although my mother would have hoped for a few more years of independent living, that this is the very best option for her now. We are lucky to have a room, with fantastic staff. Thank you, Lincoln House

A fantastic environment where the lovely staff go above and beyond to make residents feel at home, the personal extra touches such as birthday cakes, positioning bird tables outside the window and popping in for chats make for a first class service. On entering the building knowledgeable staff are smiling
and friendly always offering to help in any way they can. They seem to genuinely care for the residents and do everything possible to make the stay A good one. The building itself is welcoming, clean and inviting. The food is good and varied and staff are always happy to offer a resident an alternative if nothing takes their fancy. Being able to go and eat Sunday lunch with my grandmother is lovely, this service enables to get together and make her feel included in celebration meals. I am incredibly happy my grandmother is able to reside at Lincoln House Care Home knowing when I finish my visit the staff will continue to look after her with the dignity and care she deserves.

Dad continues to be well cared for by everyone; nurses, carers, chefs, tea makers, cleaners, wardrobe assistants, event organisers... well everyone. Now his health has inevitably declined so much, I'm pleased staff were able to get to know him before. Perhaps it is obvious to say but the continuity
of staff and care have helped us enormously. It is very reassuring to see kindness and compassion given when at our most vulnerable. I know dad finds it helpful that you give him the time he needs, responds at an appropriate level which has been constantly changing, and of course, also have a laugh and joke about it all!

My mother has been diagnosed with Cancer, and I wanted the best care home for her when she came out of hospital.


I have not been disappointed with Lincoln house and the staff and management are first class.


I have found it extremely easy to discuss any issues regarding my Mothers needs, and can

only thank everyone for making it a really good decision to place her there.


This is a nursing home that I would most definitely recommend for all round caring.

Thank you for looking after our great grandma. She was ok and then got very sick. Everyone was lovely to us and to her. We could visit anytime and stay for as long as we wanted. Sometimes we would get upset and sometimes we would get upset and sometimes we would laugh with nan and eat her sweeties.

My mother went to Lincoln House Care Home in 2006 for a few weeks recuperation following a hospital stay which she enjoyed, and has lived there permanently and very contentedly since 2011. The environment is happy, safe and secure and the staff are all very professional, caring, attentive and friendly.
Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Any concerns are listened to and dealt with promptly and I am kept up to date and involved with all aspects of mum's care. Individual preferences are catered for and activities, outings and entertainment organised on a regular basis. The menu is varied, food is fresh and cooked on the premises to a high standard. I have also seen two close relatives receive excellent nursing and compassionate and comforting palliative care at Lincoln House in the past few years. Everyone does their very best to be helpful and accommodating to both residents and their families.

Nan was admitted to Lincoln House for palliative / end of life care. Everyone treated nan with so much care and dignity that we could leave her knowing she was well looked after when we could not be there. From the reception staff through all the care team, to the laundry and tea lady, everyone knew
nan by name and took the time to chat while going about their duties. The room was always clean, nan had special dietary requirements that the kitchen catered for with ease. The visitor's kitchen area was a God send but as it's well used it could get a bit grotty. But this is down to the visitors, not the staff or the home!
