Set in over 3 acres of well-kept lawns and gardens in a small hamlet adjoining the market town of Diss, Walcott Hall provides exemplary nursing, palliative and respite care for up to 42 residents.

Walcot Hall provides compassionate, person-centred care in a safe and friendly environment that exceeds expectations through the investment and support of a strong competent and skilled workforce, which ensures quality care and seeks to value and respect the uniqueness of residents and their families. The home offers a selection of carefully designed and furnished single and double rooms, the latter suitable for couples. All rooms are equipped with a 24 hour nurse call system, television, Wi-Fi and telephone point.

The meal experience is excellent, with the chef and catering team working hard to create meals that are both nutritious and tasty, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Residents can experience restaurant-style dining in the home's dining rooms, overlooking the beautiful countryside.

Rooms at Walcott Hall are arranged over two floors overlooking the lake, garden and surrounding countryside. The extensive grounds have lawns, flower beds, paths and patio areas to be enjoyed. A small gazebo and a larger summer house provide sheltered, comfortable resting points when enjoying a walk around the gardens. The home also features a garden-based cabin, equipped with two entrance points, protective Perspex screens, intercom system, heating/insulation, and a nurse call button. This facility allows them to provide greater capacity for visits by friends and relatives when they are not able to meet visiting needs within the home. Strict infection control procedures are maintained to keep all residents, staff and visitors safe.

My mother, aged 100, has been at Walcot Hall now for almost 18-months.
She is very frail and unable to move around without help.
She is very well looked after by a caring and sympathetic staff.
The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly, and the surroundings are very pleasant.
I would regard
it as the most suitable care home for anyone.

My overall experience of Walcott Hall is a very good one. Generally, the staff are extremely good, everything is clean and hygienic and the meals are of a high standard.
Public areas are kept welcoming and clean/tidy and the nursing care is excellent.
I would highly recommend it to others.

I can not fault Walcot Hall Nursing Home. From our first visit whilst looking for a suitable Nursing Home for my mother, to my mother being cared for by the staff at Walcot Hall I can say that I have never been disappointed. The grounds are very attractive with good facilities and easy parking. The
cleanliness in the bedrooms and communal areas is second to none. The food is attractively served. The staff are caring, knowledgeable, attentive and keep the family informed. Families are and made welcome and supported when required.
